Hi, I had a mc in August, bled for entire month. Had a normal period Sept 26th and nothing since. Have done a pg test ,negative. Boobs are sore and feel like af is on the way....nope! It is now November 21!! Has anyone else had anything similar happen to them ?Want to start ttc, but don't know if I should wait for af?! I have a gyno appt. but it isn't till Feb!! Dr has done blood tests and says eveything seems to be okay. Had 2 scans when I had the mc, didn't find anything.....ahhhhh so frustrating!

Hi woowoo,

Sorry to hear about your m/c. I had m/c at the beginning of August and so understand your frustration.

My cycle has been all over the place since m/c and before m/c I was testing negative on cd44 but later tested positive on cd58? Try to keep positive.

I am now late but testing neg - its incredibly annoying!

Hi
I had a mc in August too. My first AF took 5 weeks and my second six weeks - very frustrating.

I predicted when my period was due from my ovulation because it is the first half of the cycle that is all over the place but my AF always arrives 14 days after ovulation.

Hi, sorry about your loss. I had a mmc in August too followed by an ERPC. I think an mc really disrupts your cycle and hormones and can take some time to go back to normal. I guess it is just your body needing to recover before it is ready for pregnancy again. Some women get pg again immediately after a mc, so it is ok to ttc whenever you feel ready emotionally. With me, I have had periods "regularly" since ERPC but luteal phase only 8 days for a couple of cycles. So have been ttc since the mc, but would not have been able to get pg for at least the first 2 cycles.

Hi thanks for your messages, makes me feel better that I am not the only one that has af all over the place!! I started taking a herbal suppliment called Vitex, it is supposed to help regulate your period and takes 3 months to notice a difference. Also taking vitamin b12w/ folic acid and drinking red rasberry leaf tea to try and strenghten my uterus( so hopefully don't mc again) I read alot of stuff on the net! Anyways, hope it works!!

Hi woo,
Just read your post about raspberry leaf tea. I'm not an expert by any means, but I drank this when pregnant with my dd, and I'm sure I was told not to drink it before 30 weeks. Don't want to scare you, but it might be something that you want to look in to.
Good luck,
Emma

Hi again,

I've just found this quote on
www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/labourandbirth/planningyourbabysbirth/raspberryteaeaselabo urexpert/;

It is very important not to use raspberry leaves until the last two months of pregnancy because of their stimulating effect on the uterus. Start with one cup of tea a day or one tablet and build up gradually to a maximum of four cups of tea or tablets daily. The tea can be sipped freely during labour, too.

Obviously just one quote but I've read and heard this before.
