Hi Everyone,
Hoping for some help please.
Been ttc for approx 20 months now. Had a mc at 12 weeks in 2020 (after 11months ttc) haven't had any luck falling again since. GP did a scan ovaries looked slightly polycystoc but only in the fact they looked a little enlarged. Bloods came back OK (but I do have acne and my cycles although I have periods every month vary from 25 to 31 to 34) so not consistent. My 21 day bloods showed I didn't ovulate this month and I knew I hadn't because my opks were positive for 2 weeks (the strongest positives I've ever had) defo not pg I've tested. Anyway was considering trying myo-inositol. But I've fallen into the minefield of which one to try. From what I can gather powder is best. Anyone got any recommendations or positive stories please? Thank you :)

I'm sorry for your loss.

I realised that I wasn't ovulating after my miscarriage last autumn. I started taking inofolic alpha and I ovulated (although didn't conceive) in the first month of taking it.

It did give me quite an upset tummy for a couple of weeks, although that has settled down now, so be warned!!

Hi. Following this thread.
I'm TTC#1, have been for at least 12 months. Having bloods and ultrasound next month. My cycles range from 27-36 days and track ovulation using OPKs and BBT. No luck so far, not even a hint of bfp. Have been looking at taking Myo-inositol to help regulate my cycles. Would appreciate any suggestions too ☺️

Good Luck to you @lemondrizzle44 keep us updated with your bloods and ultrasound. Do you feel OK about having them done?
I've ordered some myo today from Amazon, but weirdly I'm nervous to take them. I don't know whether to start straight away or wait until my next cycle begins. But this month is looking like a long one so I'm tempted to start straight away to get them into my system.

Snoopbeaglebum · 19/06/2021 21:48

I've also ordered some of the tablet form of myo-inositol. Like both of you, my cycle length can vary and this past month in particular has been a strange one!
I've got quite bad cystic acne around my jaw this month so I'm hoping these tablets might lend a helping hand in clearing that up at least. (I don't want much do I haha!)
Good Luck!

Hi op

I have PCOS and I used inositol purchased from my protein.com. I took 5mg per day in the morning and am currently 13 weeks pregnant. It took 4 months for it to work for me and I did not ovulate the first 3 months as it can take few months for full effect. It brought my periods down from 35 days to 31 and lighter so was amazing and worked well.

Thanks @Emilou89 feel ok about it now. Was upset at the time, I think the realisation of trying for a year and nothing hit me. Never thought it would be this hard!!!
