TERRIBLE FRER faint lines..

Hello!

I'm just wondering what you all think of this. I got this result last night on a FRER.. thought it could be the start of something, but I decided to open it once I got home this afternoon as I've been bitten so many times by nasty indent lines and evaps on FRERS that I can't bring myself to trust them anymore... to my annoyance it is another indent line I think.

Gutted as they all seem to have the slightest colour in them every time.

I'm just so beyond gutted after having been TTC for over a year, it's heartbreaking getting your hopes up and then they come crashing down..

I've been worried I've been having chemicals as some lines have been so much more present than others, like the one below for example.. so I'm currently under the doctors for tests but so far everything has come back normal 🤔 I just don't know what to do!!

Has anybody experienced the same before?

That's exactly what I had at 9dpo yesterday. This morning there is a clear pink line! Have you tried again today?
I completely get what you are saying as I had so many disappointments with FRER!

Wakeupsunshinex · 16/06/2021 08:46

That looks far too clear to be an indent. Have you tried another this morning? Fingers crossed for you.

mygreylife · 16/06/2021 08:50

Thanks both - it's really hard as it does look clear on the photos but when you take the little strip out it's just a silvery cut / line (all I can describe it as) in the area that would hold the line. I just don't know what to think.

@mygreylife hm it does look grey which could mean it's an evap :/ any chance of you double checking with another brand?

mygreylife · 16/06/2021 20:04

To update you all - still not been able to do another test as the 3 digitals I had left have all come up with an error code.
I had EWCM on Friday last week so I thought I'd ovulated then, maybe? I haven't been tracking. Decided to do an OPK last night, one this afternoon and one just now (in that order as per photo) they all look pretty similar.
Would I take this as ovulation then??
I'm so confused.

Hi ladies,

took two tests last night (around 12-10dpo) and had the same super faint line that is impossible to see (night pee) with Tesco and Sainsburys brand (25mlu)
I decided to go buy the expensive FRER that’s 6.3mlu sensitive and took it with second pee of the morning. Looks like a BFP. What do you think ?

blue is the Sainsburys from last night and the pink is FRER

@SusanaDayana that defo looks positive to me I had similar lines on my first pregnancy with Tesco and FRER

SusanaDayana · 18/08/2022 13:50

I’m going to take another one in the morning. It doesn’t feel real to me yet. Thank you x

Sorry hun, I don’t see anything on that one but it doesn’t mean your not pregnant. I had negative a week before I tried again and got BFP with my last pregnancy.. What is your current cycle? Is this morning urine and when is AF due?

GGxxx · 18/08/2022 14:20

@SusanaDayana maybe take a digital but I am confident your pregnant as your tests look like mine I got similar results the day of my missed period last time

im due on Sunday I took this test this morning my urine actually didn’t look v strong as I was up in the night having a wee

i would of thought with FRER I would have a positive by now if I was going to try and leave it now until my period is actually missed

SusanaDayana · 18/08/2022 14:42

according to my cycle tracker my period is due in the next 4 days days, that Sunday would be the likely start of my period going by history of 29 day cycles, so I’m surprised I got a positive this early.

give it until Saturday or Sunday as you say. Keep me posted.

GGxxx · 18/08/2022 14:43

Thanks @SusanaDayana you too! Feeling super positive for you

Mummyo1 · 29/11/2022 18:01

I've had similar. So hoping I get a positive test x

I do see a very very faint line. What's your dpo?

Yolo23 · 29/11/2022 23:45

Hey ladies! I know it can be helpful mentally to test early but I just wanted to share my story - and many others so it seems…
this month 11 DPO I had a positive test, followed by 3 clear blue digital positive results. I felt all the symptoms, signs and was most definitely pregnant.
I continued to test to be sure and continued getting clear positives!
Leading up to 14 DPO, I had slight spotting and bleeding (which I wouldn’t have queried had I not have tested) as it was like AF was arriving - knowing I was pregnant, to then have a number of ‘not pregnant’ tests was heartbreaking and made for a very confusing weekend - was I, wasn’t I, do I call the GP, do we get excited etc.
I know it’s hard to hear but chemical pregnancies are incredibly common and often people aren’t aware of these happening because only testing early highlights it. A chemical is what I experienced which I hadn’t really factored into being a concern - especially with having multiple digital test confimations…
I most certainly won’t be testing early again and will wait until after AF is supposed to arrive (easier said than done I know 🤣) but I just wanted to share this so you could also make the decision that’s right for you.
while it’s sad to remember how I felt having that ‘pregnant’ result which is no longer, I will say that it did give me hope knowing it could happen again so that was useful. The flip side is that it also meant that I was continually symptom spotting, googling, spending lots of money on tests, constantly testing was all I could think about for days leading up to AF. So weigh it all up and be fully prepared for every eventuality because I wasn’t 😅❤️✨ xx

Saribon · 30/11/2022 01:09

@Yolo23 I had a chemical in July after testing very early and I will never test that early again. Unnecessary stress and heart ache. Had I not tested I doubt I would have known id ever had it. I previously had a miscarriage at ten weeks and that experience was very different. The chemical was no different to any other period I just had to endure all the disappointment and upset that comes with them. I'd rather spare myself that in future

Xx

Yolo23 · 30/11/2022 18:56

@Saribon I agree with you 100%… sad that we’ve had to learn from experience which is why I wanted to share with everyone. You’re sad about the possibility with a chemical rather than the loss of a baby - but it is preventable if you don’t test early (never mind saving so much expense - my god I must have spent £100 on tests this month with so many digitals which were all positive) I can’t imagine how you must have felt with your miscarriage. So sorry to hear that my lovely. Thank you for also sharing your experience. How’s things for you now? Xx

Saribon · 30/11/2022 20:31

@Yolo23 Thank you, the miscarriage was a long time ago. My first pregnancy actually. It was very sad but I've been blessed with three children since (all teenagers now). I'm okay thank you. I hope you are too! Currently trying for number 4 but first with a different partner. Would be his first if we are lucky enough but I'm 39 now so we will have to see
