Hi all!

Congratulations on all the bfps I have missed!

Sorry for being away for so long. I had my surgery on 21st May which went fine but the recovery has been not the nicest and I’ve barely been able to get anything done. Starting to feel mostly human again now though

He found endo/adhesions on my ovaries (or maybe just one?) and they were stuck to other things. Also some on my uterus, but Fallopian tubes were completely clear! All resolved and hopefully shouldn’t cause further issues- follow up ultrasound looked a lot better. Wounds have been a bit manky haha and my stitches didn’t dissolve like they should have so I had to pull them out - hopefully sorted it!

Kittens have been good at giving lots of cuddles 🥰 had my best friend’s wedding last weekend which was beautiful and we have been enjoying the garden. Nice things have been happening along with the not great! Also going to start volunteering with Guiding again which I am really looking forward to

Took some photos on DHs phone last night, went on his phone this morning to send to myself and it was open on WhatsApp, he's left his mum on read for about a week... the message "Are we getting the patter of tiny feet soon? It’s been a while 🤪❤️".

19dpo today and just got my 3+ on the digital so I am very happy with that! More than I managed last time. Now do I put the sticks down? I feel like I should but I still have sticks to pee on!!! 😂

@polkadotpixie omg! I remember my work bestie coming to visit while we were furloughed last summer and I'd left my pregnacare trying to conceive tablets on the side and didn't realise! She just went "good luck with the sex" hahaha 😂

@Cheekymonkey3112 I now swear by replacing FMU to early/late evening U. Showed something DAYS before FMU in my case.
Totally with you on not telling DH about ovulation day. Mine was completely unaware of the science part the whole time. Much less pressure than the first time.

@DJmum83 gosh, that sounds so stressful, I can just imagine how you feel. Do they have any information at all?

@Haiyaa Yash for 3+! Haven't tried digital yet as I'm still going through my FRER stash. But will get a couple of digitalis; one for what would be AF day (tomorrow), and one for the week after.

@bez91 reply to get with "yes we are getting a gerbil" 🤣8 months? Gosh our last one we managed to sell & complete in 6 weeks! WSnt to a cash buyer either, we are completing 30th June for the stamp duty, could've done earlier but the sellers are booked to move south on 29th

On the offer, if you use a recruiter or certainly us as headhunters you would have hoped they would have already asked for more money which most of the time we did if we thought there was more in the budget. Because you aren't then it falls on you, if they come at the bottom of the range you asked for then personally I would say you "are very happy to consider the offer but slightly disappointed & worried that your current firm might counter offer you to mitigate the gap which would be a very stressful situation bearing in mind you weren't actively looking for a new role, whereas a bit more you think would just make it cut and dry & a very easy decision". Don't forget they mentioned the share save so if you didn't want to ask for more salary then def get that as a sweetener. Would they put you on garden leave? I had 3 months garden leave. Bliss.

@tornado2inc he knows there's only a few days a month that we can conceive but he is reaaaaally busy with work and working 12/13 hour days so between that, being tired and DC it is trying to find time where he can be arsed which sucks

@Billythecat nice to have you back! Sounds a bit like my endo surgery. It was adhesions on ovary and endo in Uteral ligaments. My bowel was stuck to an ovary or something, weird huh! I'm glad you're recovering well now tho and your future plans sound great!

@larrythelizard best of luck for today. Sod having a conscience though for applying for jobs, I did that when I got my last BFP in October that ended in the MMC and almost didn't go to the interview because I was pregnant, I'd have been so annoyed at myself now if I hadn't as I got the job.

@Minster2012 yes that is an option, DH doesn't know I read it. He ignores her most of the time hence why she's always left of read @becarefuloutthere 😂

@bez91 wow at DH's mum, why do people think that's okay!! I still get fuming when people say things to me and my OH, his best friend in particular is so so bad for it, and I'm making it my mission that when we finally get pregnant I'm going to say to him, so all these times you've made comments and digs we were going through a really tough time and it took x amount of months to get to where we are now, for future reference never make comments like thst again to any woman!! It infuriates me!!

So I don't know if I'm just being a bitter cow or what, but my cousin has just given birth to her 3rd child (3 under 5 wowww), and she always goes on about how her "DH just needs to look at her and she falls pregnant", and it annoys me, she literally doesn't realise how lucky she is to be so clearly fertile, it's like it's just a game for her, all her pregnancies she's fallen pregnant in the first 3 months, and even though I'm so so happy for her and her babies are gorgeous, it bothers me that fertility doesn't run in the family😂
