@Minster2012 think you are similar to me. I say I could sell or regift but I won't! And similar with the wrap dresses....I've used the expression "it'll be handy if I get pregnant " a few times. Yes I definitely am trying to manifest something here, just a pitymy powers only stretch to manifesting lint 🤣🤣🤣

@Minster2012 nothing to protect ffs I can barely get time to brush my teeth never mind anything else 🤣🤣 plus still sore from my tumble down the stairs 🤦‍♀️. And yes the older kids might need some protection if they don't pull their socks up 🤣🤣 I blame lockdown for making them so lazy honestly 🤣

Hubby messaged asking of I want to go out for dinner so I told him only if I can go in my jammies cos I haven't had a minute. That should get me a couple of days of him running round after me 🤣🤣 xx

@Manifestingbaby it's been 6 weeks but been so long since my last baby I can't remember if that's normal? I don't breast feed, I know that can delay af. I literally had a week without any pads etc and now af 😪 I don't know how babies wear Nappies all the time 🤣🤣 xx

@Minster2012 it depends. I'll def wait until I start but if their mat leave doesnt kick in for ages I might just go ahead. If I'm lucky it kicks in straight away (like at my current and previous jobs) or after just 3 months. From reading about it online it sounds like they'll have 24 or 26 weeks fully paid - I hope that's true!

I am literally a zombie after my GTT. It was fine just boring, had bloods, strong sugary drink, then waited 2 hours, and had more bloods. I feel shattered now, had a headachd at first but now I can't stop eating either. Today's deffo a day to veg out on the sofa right?!

@Juno231 can see why you'd hold off TTC because of the job. Really awkward isn't it it's not like you can ask them to see their maternity policy before you start 😆 my place are good but have to have 2 years service for full entitlement so we started trying in mind that if we were lucky and got pregnant straight away from that I'd have my 2 years service.... well I wish we'd have tried sooner in hindsight 😂

@Manifestingbaby I've never bought anything for an imaginary baby 🙈 myself though yes - I bought loads of maternity clothes last winter when I was just 10 weeks before MMC as I just ballooned, hopefully I'll be pregnant through winter to put them to use 🤦🏼‍♀️ spent a fortune too

@Manifestingbaby we are def very similar then, it's a weird phyche isn't if! I def spent more thinking "oh well if it doesn't happen I'll give it to XXX" but then doesn't happen 🙄

@bez91 I think it's mental how much paid parental leave can vary from place to place yet no one includes it in the benefits package when offering a job?? So flipping dodgy. Can't believe yours stated 2 years!

@Minster2012 today bossboy put the Spanish anthem on the music knowing I am a separatist, I have threatened to burn the flag if he hangs it, so I just went and turn his speaker off, then put it back on after a few minutes but he took a long while to put music back, and then put gid save the Queen, that doesn't offend me, he's letting me leave early nearly every day this week, I had to ask if there'll be a catch, the boy cannot even be nice without me being suspicious of him, it does rattle him

@Minster2012 I am a bit older and married now, but he was violent and scary, and just wouldn't stop, I loved him but was so scared

@Somatronic he was very rough, in all senses, but I escaped from him very quickly, was only with him for a few months, bosses are general arseholes, I don’t think gender matters all that much, at least in my industry, but my dh is a lovely caring man

I'm lucky with my boss. She drives me around the bend a lot of time but she means well, so I can't complain too much. I work in a sector full of egomaniacs and I'm a highly sensitive introvert so that's fun.
