@juno231 I was fairly fortunate in that I had my coil inserted and removed during general anaesthetic during surgery. What was interesting though is when I had it put in I was in severe pain as soon as I came round and I ended up with a womb infection! I was chatting to DH the other day about contraception after baby is born and it made me want to cry!

Thank you for all your kind thoughts and positive words ladies. I have a scan booked for Monday so I'm going to try and hold out for that, mainly as if anything was amiss at a private scan I think most likely the nhs would just tell me to wait until then anyway.

I've just had my acupuncture session and I'm feeling a little bit more zen 💕

I'm getting such annoying twinges now I'm so frustrated. I think it's bloody rude of a woman's body not to just go back to normal after a MC it's so bloody emotionally frustrating. Want AF now. Obviously I'd take a positive instead but seeing as that's not forthcoming I'll take the witch

On another note DH apparently "worked from home today" (I went into the office for the morning) after he had a heavy corporate day yesterday & got back in at 2.20am so he basically slept all day & maybe did one thing🙄however we did have hot horny day after sex so you lot but get loads of sex WFH!

Ps does anyone know how to change the settings on Femometer from LBs to kg?

Arrived at the coast, it's freezing 😂. The main reason I booked this week was distraction wise as should have been my due date tomorrow. DHs best friend announced her pregnancy Christmas Day as I'd just had my surgery and he's just sent him a photo as they had a DS last night, obviously very happy for them but I swear we must have conceived the same damn week so it stings a bit.

@becarefuloutthere aww how lovely!! Ooo I bet you'll have such a nice time away to relax! Are you going to announce your pregnancy or anything?x

@InkyPaper glad to hear your SIL and MIL have been really supportive! I get you on the it being nice but hurting seeing DH being with your nieces, my OH is godfather to his best friends daughters and he's absolutely amazing with them, I love watching them play together but it pains me because it just reminds me every time how much he deserves to be a dad!

@Kirky658 don't forget about condoms, I really wish I hadn't gone back on hormonal contraception after DS, never mind the mess that I think my hormones are in now, I have also come to the conclusion that hormonal contraception doesn't agree with me!

I'm so incredibly annoyed with myself that I let myself think I was pregnant this cycle.

Trying to focus on work stuff - external interview next and possibly some people moving companies and might also take me with them which is promising.

Think I'm going to go low key on the TTC, kind of NTNP until all the work stuff is resolved then really force the issue with medical people (have been chasing blood results today - am petrified that late period is start of menopause and not Pfizer related but at least bloods were done so should be some sort of indicator?)

@larrythelizard think that's gonna be the way to be honest, I cant have any contraception with oestrogen due to my endo it has to be progesterone based but the only hormonal contraceptive that worked was the mirena coil.... Relieved my pains slightly. Hoping for some endo respite after the birth!

@Juno231 omg that article on the coil, that poor woman. The coil was an absolute hell no for me, the pill was bad enough. @Kirky658 me and my DH have agreed we're just not gonna bother with contraception again as there's no point 😂

So I've been thinking about trying to temp next cycle, @Juno231 & other temp fans, how bad would drinking at the weekend set it off? Or there are things like temp drop or ovusense? Anyone had any experience of these expensive beasts?

Af has been really well behaved do far and been pretty normal ?!?!?! Only time will tell if she hangs around for 4weeks like before. Unfortunately not hot hotel sex due to being incredibly tired out from all the hiking and driving but did squeeze in a mad session the morning we left 🤣 hoping for more tonight and the rest of the week as he surprised me and booked the whole week off to spend some good time together ☺️ maybe @minster2012 your spotting turned out to be light af? It's weird coz shes super light for me too . I'm started to believe that Pfizer messed with my cycles and delayed them more than normal and now just starting to get it back a bit. Who knows 🤷 but starting Monday emkfit is coming back ! @Dollybird89 I've no idea if spotting was AF or not 😩I'm on CD38 now so no idea really, Trying to look at cm & cervix too & still just as confused. Well done on the hiking though booooo on lack of hot hotel sex, but glad you had a good time. I got resistance bands from Amazon, we've got 2 types, ones with handles which DH uses more, and then just the band ones. I got the hybrid ones off Amazon

@Minster2012 I still had drinks on Friday and Saturdays when temping and it didn't seem to screw anything up much. You can mark that you drank with the temp so that when you're looking at patterns on the chart, you can spot why a temperature could be off. I held off from BBT for so long but it really helped me when I started tracking it as it was the only way for me to confirm ovulation rather than just hoping from the LH strip surges. Worth a shot if those ovulation sticks are driving you insane!

@2020mission I have a Femometer one so I guess I could use that for a couple of cycles alongside the sticks. I get on well with the CB but find it so hard with the ICs as I drink so much water I literally wee every hour 🤣but I might try it all. When I have a new cycle that is 😘

Just been for DH's birthday meal... Omg I can't move. Baby must be taking up so much space already as last time we went I ate so so much this time I was full after my starter 🤣 it was a Smokehouse restaurant and so so good. One of my main irritants now about restaurants is the lack of non alcoholic beverages other than fizzy pop though!

@Vil10 yeah hope so. Yeah I think I will, not sure what I'll say yet as want to make reference to the hard journey and ivf etc but also wary of the amount of random's on my fb so might just limit to Insta, don't know, need to talk to Dh too, but I'll wait n see if we get 12 weeks first.

@Minster2012 I drink every weekend lol and it never affects my temps unless I get trollied. I'd definitely use FF over femometer though, I always find femometer just does its own thing regardless of what the temps or opks are saying 😅. Plus it's way harder to see patterns on as the scale on the y axis is too big 🤷‍♀️. My two cents so to speak!

@Minster2012 I don't drink so can't help on that front but I have rubbish sleep patterns and still have a readable chart. I second @Juno231 that Fertility Friend is the best app, it's much easier to read than the others which all look too stretched out to me
