Relaxing has done me good, last week I lost nearly 2 pounds without dieting or doing anything out of the ordinary

Yep all boringly predictable, AF waited until I actually sat and looked at dates and thought about due date and also I told DH what was happening and then this morning, there she is @Minster2012!

Am mainly fucked off. Not helped by DS having nightmares, bailing out of a thing at the gym this morning and cricking my back and suspect the almost half a bottle of wine is also not helping this morning!

@blackcurrantqueen so hard to think rationally when you're running on empty. Would DD sit quietly and watch some sort of TV on an IPad whilst you doze next to her? Or failing that can anyone have her for an occasional night so you could catch up on sleep? In regards to the new one, you've seen a heartbeat so the risk of miscarriage is already lower than it was. Every day passed is a win and another day in the bank x

10DPO today and my temps keep dropping - they actually reached the coverline today so I'm not sure I'll even make it to my normal 12day LP...

@larrythelizard and yes to skyr! It's made by Arla anyway which is a Danish/Swedish company @Minster2012 so I can live with that!

The traditional Swedish dairy product is filmjölk which is fermented yoghurt a bit like kefir but without the bubbles. We have it instead of milk when eating our morning cereals and muesli etc :)

@larrythelizard that's what we said, you can always change the inside of a house, the only thing this house had that you couldn't just make in another house was the features but I just wasn't willing to compromise on a garden! So so sorry af has arrived!! Sendings hugs x

Morning everyone 😄 absolutely shattered today - spent the weekend with my in-laws watching DH run around after our nieces. They adore him and it's so cute watching them play together but it hurts at the same time because he'd be such an amazing Dad. Explained all the fertility issues going on to my SiL and MiL who were both really supportive, which was nice.

@blackcurrantqueen anxiety is the absolute worst!! Have you tried the Worry Tree? It's a CBT exercise to help you work through the anxious thoughts. Either way, the lack of sleep is probably not helping! Hope your DD let's you sleep in a bit longer tomorrow. Like the others said, just take things one step at a time. Big hugs ❤️

We had a weekend away in the van so limited internet and general time away from it all.

Def needed. Looks like I am headin into FW so started OPKs this morning looking for the static smile 😊 expected in about 5 days at a guess but we shall see!

@Vil10 you always have to compromise on things when house buying, but obviously people all have different priorities, so it's working out which ones that matter most. The right thing will come up.

@vil10 I agree with the house view! Unfortunately out of the 16 houses we saw none of them had a garden anywhere near what I was looking for so in the end it had to be part of the compromise lol. It was that or lengthening our commute. Difference is that we aren't planning on this being a forever home so hopefully the next one will have the garden I want!

Not tracking this month but I'm pretty convinced of when I ovulated (would make me about 5dpo) I was driving and swear I felt a couple of little pops, maybe just my mind playing tricks seeing as I'm not tracking and obviously not symptom spotting 🙄

@bez91 they've already replied but ignored everything I said about the base salary and latched on to my mention of giving up my share scheme. So now they want to see my vesting schedules and see if they can buy me out of that instead. Oh well, better than nothing!

@Juno231 you can still say there needs to be more addition on the base for it to be an immediate yes. I signs reiterate your counter offer again and ask them specifically to consider it. One last try you can actually say "you've not addressed my concerns on the base salary & ease of my current firm mitigating a small remuneration gap" or whatever
