Metallic taste

So I'm around 3/4 DPO I believe (only going from EWCM and not actual OPK's so this could be a complete guess!
I've had the most awful metallic taste in my mouth ALL. DAY! It's ruining the flavour of foods that I usually love and just feels like I'm sucking on a copper penny 🤦🏼‍♀️😩

Anybody know what this could be, if anything?! Could well be nothing and I'm fully aware of that, and that an egg couldn't have even implanted yet.. but still found it super weird!

This isn't going to be a v popular reply, I don't think, but could be Covid? 🤷‍♀️

I only got it when pregnant, or eating cheap pine nuts. Random, I know, but it's something that happens to many people when having a cheap pesto.

Thanks all! Took a covid test and negative, taste has gone now so absolutely no idea!

This was one of my first signs of pregnancy, from around 9DPO. Like sucking a cheap metal teaspoon.
