15 weeks and still exhausted!?

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal to still feel absolutely exhausted by 5pm every evening!? I'm waiting for the "2nd trimester energy" to hit me but so far I only feel about 20% better than I did in the 1st Sad

Sickness and things have completely gone but I can shake the sleepiness.

Any advice would be appreciated XX

Hi @Babyno1x - maybe repost this under the pregnancy section?

With my current pregnancy, I felt absolutely exhausted in the second trimester. Much worse than the third!

Have you had your iron levels tested? Mine were low so I started taking supplements which helped for a while but I still had my moments tbf.

As far as advice goes, get in some really easy to cook meals so at least you don't have to worry about cooking. We lived off frozen pizza, pasta with jarred sauce and instant noodles for a few weeks! I tried to do housework in the mornings when I still had a bit of energy and DH did the lion's share of childcare of our toddler. Lower your standards as to how much you can get done. I pretty much wrote off the day after doing any extra physical effort.

Yes normal. First trimester symptoms often infiltrate way into the second. But yes deff get iron levels checked too.
