Hey guys. I’m currently on CD22, and I randomly took an OPK earlier today and it was positive. I didn’t use OPKs earlier in this month but I just randomly checked today. I’ve been trying to conceive baby number 1 for over 2 years now. In these 2 years I’ve had a mc, and three chemicals. This month, I started on maca supplements and I’ve been taking them daily throughout my cycle. I had ovulation-like pains that I usually get every month, around day 12-13 of my cycle but I didn’t temp or use an OPK so I don’t know if I actually ovulated then. My cycles are usually around 26-28 days long, and they’re never late. This positive OPK so late is worrying me in case maca has messed up my cycle. My cycles are pretty regular usually so I hope it’s not messed them up. CD22 is far too late for me to ovulate, right?
Any help? Is anyone else taking maca and does it seem to be helping with ttc? Did it mess up your cycle?
I’ve also heard that a positive OPK can mean a BFP so I tested using FRER today and it was negative. So I have no idea what’s going on.
