Just a bit of a lighthearted thread as I’m at the end of my TTC tether!

I’m one of those who always thinks that even though AF has shown herself, I might be the story we hear about and actually still be pregnant 😂 (obviously that’s never been the case)

So I’m asking for your stories! Anyway actually had this happen to them? I’ve just finished AF a couple of days ago but did notice that it was only my normal bleeding for a few days, whereas I normally have full on heavy bleeds for 3-4 days at least! And now I’m super super super tired, having full nights sleeps and hours of naps during the day. I don’t have any tests in the house anymore so just doing a bit of musing

Anyone had anything like this happen to them? Any positive stories? Xx

The symptom that made me test when I got my positive was fatigue. I’ve always been such a night owl and my job has flexi time so loved working at night. But I was falling asleep at my laptop, on the sofa, anywhere! And at 9/10pm when usually I’d sleep anytime after 1am 😂

That’s just like me @danielleb97 😂 I’m feeling sooo tired and having multiple naps a day. But I know I’ve just had my period and it’s more likely to be some virus or just basic fatigue or something, but it’s fun to wonder xx

Will do @Bundaberg84! Just waiting for some to arrive, have stopped keeping them in the house now as I’ve learned my lesson 😂 Just having a bit of an aimless summers day muse in the meantime

@WicketBasket Dont be hun! Guess I m sillier than you, the fact that despite period is almost on time each cycle with its usual heavy flow, I still poas just to rule out implantation bleeding. There goes all my money restocking on pregnancy test each month!

Oh @beautifulinitstime you and I are soul sisters I used to do the same, despite as you said, period on time and the same as it ever was! Stopped buying tests a while back to minimise the heartbreak 😅
But then I would always do the whole Googling stories of women who got their BFP’s despite a period every single time! I’m basically doing the same thing now 😂😂 Will keep you posted hun xx

@beautifulinitstime BFN for me hun! Knew it would be and I was being slightly silly but I can never shake off the ‘what if’ feeling so I tested 😂 Well, I guess I’ve got to go ahead into another month of the TTC drama! It’s exhausting isn’t it? Xx

You’re so right, onwards and upwards eh? I’m CD11 and have fairly longish cycles, about 32-35 days, so my fertile week isn’t until next week. I normally use OPK’s and always ovulated around CD16-17ish but have decided I’m not going to use them this month. I think it’s stressing me out and tbh, I’m just getting tired and bored of them now! Does that sound very silly? 😂

@WicketBasket agaiiiin, we really are souled tho we are just some strangers whom just met!😂 I also thought of not tracking my fertile days in this cycle around, so that I wont anticipating to know/to test the days post ovulation. Thinking of just letting nature to take its course. It will happen when we least expecting it people say? I m currently on CD10, you are just a day ahead of me. I ve got a long cycle too, about 31/32 days after I miscarried early of this year. Used to be 28 days previously. My fertile day is kept changing too, cd 14/15 and sometimes cd 17/18. I m not sure how long it's gonna take for me to see the double line again

@WicketBasket hun, u there? Need helpp well tbh I actually felt random nauseous these few days but it went on and off. I tried hard not to do anything silly because I know where I would end up with it. Yet, I cant resist. I grabbed a pregnancy test with 20mIU sensitivity. This is how it looks like. Comparing it with others' similar test that I took randomly from the net. I did tweak the pic a bit. Gosh I promise not to do this again.. why would I even start it

Tested again this morning, nothing. Just a stark white double line. Guess that made the shadowy double line yesterday. What a shame My hormones are getting imbalance, was quite nauseous the whole day yesterday. Gearing up for ovulation, could be?

Hi @beautifulinitstime! I’m so sorry you’ve been having a tough time on your own, I’ve been working long shifts at work so haven’t had a chance to log on!

I know! We drive ourselves crazy and test and hope and all sorts. I did just have a look at your test and wasn’t sure whether there was a bit of a shadow but you’ve said you’ve done another and it was stark white. I think let’s draw a line and focus on this cycle eh? 😘 My gynaecologist has said there’s al sorts of hormones fluctuations around the time of ovulation so you’re right, might just be your body gearing up! Time to get busy 😜

I haven’t been using my OPK’s which has left me feeling a bit nervous and tbh hun, I just feel so exhausted with it all, I’m not even sure I can be bothered 😕 How are you feeling otherwise? Xxx

@WicketBasket hope you are doing okay there despite ur busy working schedule hun. I decided not to track my opk too, so I just let nature taking its course this cycle around. Indeed, this ttc stuff is slowly consuming my life and guess i need to relax a bit, enjoying my life as for now. Wishing u the best too hun, i do know its easier said than done.

Anyway, I ve got another thread which is rather confusing. No idea whats happening with my hormones right now. If u have time, u can read the whole story as in the link hun. Not hoping tho because it is vague and not making any senses at all.
