Hi

Looking for some advice and have a couple of questions really Grin

1 - I started my period from the 5th of June to the 9th however I always get watery spotting & brownish discharge at the end of my period and this lasts 2/3 days at the end, does this count as me still being on my period? If so should I change the end date of my period on my app?

2 - I have 3 apps, glow/flo/fertility friend. All are saying I'm ovulating at different times Confused any insight?

I know the best way is to track by opks & general bodily functions such as CM etc but just wanted to check Grin

Thank you

  1. Period length doesn't correlate with when you ovulate and length doesn't really matter as long as its within normal parameters, so do whatever seems right to you. The main thing is you record it consistently each month. The general consensus is if you need a pad, tampon, cup etc then it counts as full flow, but if you don't, or just a panty liner then it's just spotting.
  1. Ignore Glow and Flo. FF uses the data you input to predict ovulation, and the more you input the better it learns your cycle. Glow and Flo assume you ovulate mid-cycle based on the length you say your cycles are and don't learn from your data.

  1. Record when you stop bleeding but as above it has no impact on fertility or when you ovulate. It's more useful in terms of buying supplies.
  1. Pick an app and just use that. You'll just confuse yourself otherwise
