What was your first period like?

Hi all, first time poster here

I came off the pill at the end of April when we started TTC. There hasn't been any sign of a period until last week, but it was very light (didn't even need a pad) and lasted only 3 days. I actually thought I was spotting at first and pregnant .

Just wondering what other peoples' first periods were like after coming off the pill? The lightness worries me in case it's a sign of the uterus lining being too thin. Also how long did it take you to become regular?

I came off cerazette back in October and it took 4 and a half weeks for AF to arrive. I'd been on cerazette a long time, then stopped for a year, went back on it for a few months, and then stopped to properly to TTC. I hadn't had periods when on cerazette but they returned quickly.

I've heard that some people can have a withdrawal bleed as their first bleed after stopping the pill and then the following month is proper AF, but not sure if that would've been sooner?

I came off Rigevedon early January. I completed my 21 pill pack and had my period as usual during what would have been my break week, I then had my next period 22 days later. My cycles have been 27 days since then, they're actually lighter than the periods that I had on the pill which really surprised me, plus they're shorter by a day or so and hardly any PMS/pain.
