I know it sounds obvious but should bbt be higher due to the weather?

My BBT has been higher than usual this past week. I'm usually between 36.00 and 36.20 at this stage of my cycle. But temps have been around 36.30. I've had the fan on me all night for the first time and temps are back down to 36.10 this morning.

Mine went from 36.4 to 36.65 last night!

Hey! I was thinking this too. I've just started bbt this month after O and I've been ranging from 36.26-36.33 and randomly this morning it was 36.68. I have no idea if this is normal or not but thought it must be down to the heat since it was such a big jump (I'm 8dpo) Smile

Mine has been higher too. I'm normally around 36.3 pre-ovulation but I was 36.54 this morning

Hopefully doesn't affect us all that much, I can't be doing with any other stress on top of worrying about whether the heat has mucked up my temps 😭🤣

Peak smiley this afternoon Grin

Oh thats good then!! So you're bbt would be right regardless of the heat?

Juno231 · 13/06/2021 19:50

Mine hasn't been affected by the heat and wasn't affected by it last summer either
