Hi all, my husband and I have been TTC since October last year when I had my 3rd implant removed (10 years total). In April this year I had awful back pain for a few weeks and was admitted to hospital for emergency surgery for removal of a 7 x 6cm dermoid cyst. The surgery went well, and after a couple of infections and 2 weeks of antibiotics I feel I’m definitely on the mend. We’ve been TTC for 8 months now ( a 4 week break after surgery), charting my ovulation through an app which seems pretty reliable - I never had a period for the 10 years I was on the implant and they resumed within a month or so of removal. The app seems to track my period give or take 1-2 days and we’ve been having sex at least twice during my ovulation period. I bought ovulation strips but they’ve never once said I’m ovulating 
but during the scans I had for my cyst they said everything looked normal. I’m 29 and my husband is 33. Has anyone been through similar or got any advice? We both work conflicting 13 hour shifts (me mainly day, him night), so finding time to be together isn’t the easiest.
