Apologies, I have posted in infertility but it appears a little ‘busier’ over here and feel this should have been where I posted initially... joined today and not quite sure of the layout yet.
Currently TTC our first baby; been trying for 2 years and due to commence our fertility treatment in the form of clomid. However, I’ve yet to start this. I have irregular periods often 50+ day cycles. I was prescribed 7 days worth of Provera (Medroxyprogesterone acetate 5mg 2x daily) if my period had not started after 42 days.
Started these on Sunday past after a negative pregnancy test. Here’s where I’m starting to stress; I was advised that my period would arrive a couple days after these had finished yet my period appears to have came today?? I still have two and a half days worth of my Provera to take and not entirely sure what to do now? I know I’ve to take clomid days 2-7 but unsure if this is my actual period (as ridiculous as that sounds!) as it has came on so quickly and was right after me and my partner DTD this afternoon. Bright pink in colour and a little more than I would usually see for day one, more often I am spotting for 2-3 day prior.
To add to the confusion; I’ve had very tender breasts, headaches and a sore back the last couple days. I presumed this was due to the Provera but took a HPT on the off chance this morning and have since had 5 positive results throughout the day with different urine. I’m so confused.
Apologies if this is a bit wishy washy but my head is all over the place today. Has anyone had experience like this or is able to advise on any part of it?
I have since done another test, still coming back positive and bleeding has almost gone?!
