Hello, I’m just looking for some advice, I had a miscarriage 10th May, bleeding lasted for 4 / 5 days, my cycle is usually 24 -25 days with a 3 day bleed. I was told that I shouldn’t bleed again for atleast 4-6 weeks after my miscarriage bleed, however 15 days later I had another 3 - 4 day bleed, however it was very watery, no clots like a normal AF although red and relatively heavy, is this normal ? Xx thank you ☺️

Hi there and sorry for your loss. I don’t know for sure but having just gone through a miscarriage myself I’ve read lots and it can take your body a while to adjust back to normal so a random period type bleed is very possible as your body adjusts. Have you tested to ensure you have no HCG left? If you do then you need to call your EPAU or GP for advice.

Sorry for your loss.

Miscarriage can leave your cycle all over the place. Mine was unpredictable for the next 8 months until I conceived again.

So sorry for your losses.
I had a MMC back in March, ended up having a D&C in April as there was retained tissue and I've only just had my second period since, but it hasn't been a normal one at all. None of the PMS systems that i use to get, and its been incredibly light, only really lasting a day compared to 3 days. I know its so hard but i think it just takes some time for things to get back to normal :(

I would do a test if you haven't done one, as you may have some retained tissue like i did. However if your testing negative, i guess all you can do is wait until your next cycle starts again and see how that one goes.
