Stopping pill mid-pack TTC

Hi all,

I was taking the pill for about 5 years, then stopped after last packet in October and my cycle returned to normal.
I started a new type of pill just over a week ago the day my natural period started (for skin, not contraception) but stopped taking it 7 pills in after realising that now was the time for a bubba! (worst timing in relation to resuming pill!!!!)

It’s been 3 days since I stopped taking and have started light bleeding as of today. Is this a withdrawal bleed even though I was only taking the pill for a week? In my natural cycle I should be ovulating around now, I’m guessing I won’t ovulate now due to starting the pill? Sad
I feel like I have messed everything up for the sake of 7 pills because I had over 6 months of a natural and fairly regular cycle Sad
When is it likely that I will ovulate or be able to get pregnant?

TIA x

@gee31 I think so, yes. 7 pills is still a lot of hormones for your body, I don't remember exactly but I think after three pills in it should already be safe for unprotected intercourse? I really don't think you can expect a regular cycle right now. Sorry 😕
