1DPO for me tomorrow too! I'm a testing addict, I already know I'll cave at 10DPO - just accepting it now! 😂 Now to keep myself busy and stop thinking about it all - any tips welcome! Sending you lots of luck that the first month is a good one for you!

Hdujsjdjdbru · 06/06/2021 20:54

I am either 6 or 7dpo not entirely sure and counting down the days (hours🤣) until I can on Wednesday.

Danni744 · 06/06/2021 21:09

Lol ladies it is so freaking hard! It takes over my mind 24/7 I will literally just Google the same questions every day and look on threads! I’m hoping assignments will keep my mind occupied while I wait for what feels like 2000 days! Morning walks before work is what I’m planning to keep my mentality moving

Thank TheDots millions of luck to you too 🤞🤩

Oh wow Hdujsjdjdbru you haven’t got long to wait GOOD LUCK GOOD LUCK GOOD LUCK!!!

Can I ask, what are you both doing in regards to checking fertility? Or are you just doing lots of BD? I have PCOS so I can’t measure things like hcg as my hormones are all over the place. I go off CM and just generally how I feel

@Danni744 happy 1 DPO! 😂 I'm exactly the same - I need to keep my mind active otherwise I will just get lost in a Google spiral...34 pages later I'm like whaaaaat 😂 I'm using OPKs - they really help me identify my peak and so roughly when I'm ovulating. Although I don't have PCOS I did have a miscarriage earlier this year so my cycles have been all over the place since then but they've still helped me identify when I'm ovulating. We also use pre-seed which helps with lots of BDing!

Danni744 · 07/06/2021 09:34

Yay happy 1 DPO 🎉🤣! I’ve Woken up like - ‘my boobs are sore is this a symptom?’, ‘The post mans not arrived yet, is this a symptom?!’ Lol! Im so sorry to hear about your miscarriage 😞 whenever I’ve experienced miscarriages it’s taken a good two months for my cycles to get into a routine. Although I have PCOS I’m actually really lucky that my TOTM is regular. Only thing that messed it up recently was that I had to get cells burned out from a bad smear test. But now I think im at a 28day cycle xx I have an app called Premom, it’s really good to log my TOTM and predict my ovulation days, but I still know I’m better going off the way my body feels. Interested to research the temp measuring thing that people do. But I’ll have to see if Thts suitable for me x

@Danni744 the postman!! 😂 my symptom spotting tendencies are off the chart! Have you heard of a website called 'Countdown to Pregnancy'? It gives you day by day 'symptoms' and the likelihood of it relating to a BFP - it's a dangerous way to spend a few hours! I have Premom too - it's great! I log my OPKs there too so it ends up being quite accurate. I've had a random longer cycle this month, didn't ovulate until CD24 so glad I carried on testing otherwise I would have stopped. It's so good that you can tell with body symptoms - I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you when I ovulate without an OPK! Sorry to hear about your smear - I've had that done too, it's not pleasant but definitely worthwhile doing. I was thinking that too about temp - I guess it's just getting into a routine of doing it at the same time each day. Not sure I'm there yet though. Is this baby number 1 for you?

Hdujsjdjdbru · 07/06/2021 11:39

@Danni744 I also use OPKs I really would have no idea otherwise however mainly because I've been on the pill all my adult life since I was 18 and only came off it a few years ago to conceive my first, and was pregnant first month so I don't have much experience in what my body feels like when it's ovulating! I found OPKs great and they obv worked for me first time round! So I've been using them again.
I had an ulcer pop up last night and googled it 🤣 crazy isn't it. Especially as with my first I had no symptoms at all!

Catipepo · 07/06/2021 12:07

Hi all,
I'd like to join your waiting room! I'm 1DPO today. This would be my first baby.
My only concern is that I had some mid cycle spotting, this could be ovulation spotting (although never happened before), or thinking it could have been some irritation from DTD everyday!
Last month I used up two boxes of strip testing in lead up to AF so trying not to do that again this month! Planning to test on 18th or 19th as it could make a nice Fathers Day present for my DO.
I have only been using Clue App to track my cycles, have used this for a few years now so have a good picture and am pretty regular. I've not used any other testing but will try OPKs next cycle if not successful this month.

Catipepo · 07/06/2021 12:09

*DP not DO

Danni744 · 07/06/2021 15:29

@TheDots I have two little boys 🤩my mini miracles!, but now we’ve decided if we can manage it we’d love one last one!!! How about you?

@Hdujsjdjdbru you see I’ve never had to use anything like these sticks. I would just get busy and let it all take time, with my first it took about a year, but I felt no pressure. Then with my youngest I had miscarriages and then around….I think 3/4months I was pregnant…I think..? But now because I’m older and my symptoms from pcos are worse, I want to utilise any of the most fertile days I have lolol!!!

@Catipepo To test close to Father’s Day is an AMAZING idea!!!! you see having a timescale like that would do me good because if I’m left with no guidance I’ll test daily/twice a day🤣 I have ordered a pack of 3 clearblue tests. Two are meant to be early detection and then theirs one digital. TOTM is due around 20th june.

Hey! Can I join in too? I'm 1DPO today, 33 yrs old in Cycle 2 ttc #1. Went a bit nuts last month and had every symptom under the sun, and a BFN to show for it, so absolutely determined this month to relax and not poas 'til at least 10DPOGrin in theory!

Howlplant · 07/06/2021 16:47

@catipepo I have ovulation spotting most months, been to the doctors for a trans vaginally ultrasound twice and both ovaries apparently healthy, just one of those things. Meant that yesterday I knew I'd ovulated from some spotting, though my Flo app said day before, as I'd had a Clearblue peak morning of 5th, and ovulated mid morning of 6th.

Catipepo · 07/06/2021 17:04

@Howlplant Thanks for sharing- that's reassuring to know! It may well have happened before and I've not even noticed as wasn't being so vigilant

justwant2beamum · 07/06/2021 17:08

Hey I'm also 2dpo. This is cycle #8 TTC #1. Fell pregnant in January but had a mc. Would absolutely love to fall this month and surprise DP for Father's Day 🥺 🤞🏻lots of us on here will be able to do that 🤞🏻

Howlplant · 07/06/2021 17:25

@justwant2beamum so sorry you had a mc, fingers crossed for fab fathers day news! I'd love to be in same boat as AF due 20th but nay be cutting it too fine! Plus my OH is a worrier so I had planned to wait until I was 100% past AF before telling him

LeeTTCRainbow · 07/06/2021 17:39

Hi girls, been reading all your messages, sorry for everyone who has had a loss also, thought would introduce myself as i'm currently in the TWW 4dpo, its first cycle trying since our mmc back in January at 12.5 weeks found via our scan, i started miscarrying few days later but in end had to have emergency d&c as body wasn't accepting our loss and had risk of infection and had too much blood loss, was a tough few months, then amazingly i fell again end of march was a surprise but gladly received but unfortunately the word can be cruel and miscarried at 6 weeks, took me another month or so to get myself back up and now here we are finally feel ready to try again so we have this cycle. doing my best not to symptom spot but back of my mind I'm thinking were my boobs and back hurting like this with my previous pregnancy, my AF is due 17th and deep down trying not to get my hopes up but would love to share our rainbow positive with my fiance on fathers day, heres hoping our ttw flies by and we get the positives we all want. sending baby dust to all.

Danni744 · 07/06/2021 19:26

@Howlplant oh snap I’m 33 as well !

@LeeTTCRainbow that all sounds so heartbreaking xx ✨✨ baby dust ✨✨

I think I need to go to the Drs at some point because I’m in so much pain whenever it’s around the time of ovulation. For nearly 12months I’ve had this issue and it’s developed to the point it’s sometimes causing more pain than my painful TOTM

TheDots · 07/06/2021 19:54

@LeeTTCRainbow I'm so sorry to hear what you've been through - I've had a really similar experience this year, I had a MC at 13 weeks in January, it started and finished naturally but it was still a horrific experience. I then also fell pregnant in April but miscarried at 5+2 weeks. I've honestly wanted to hibernate for all of 2021 as it's just been the worst year. Here's hoping that we get our rainbow BFPs in June! 🌈

@Danni744 aw that's so lovely! I'm trying for number one!

It's so nice that there's a few of us around the same time! Nearly one day down girls - we've got this!

justwant2beamum · 07/06/2021 21:39

So sorry @LeeTTCRainbow @TheDots

TheDots · 07/06/2021 21:57

@justwant2beamum thank you, sorry to hear about yours too. We'll get there x

LeeTTCRainbow · 09/06/2021 07:43

@TheDots thank you sorry about your losses too we seem to be around the same time scale, here’s hoping it continues and both get our well deserved positives this month. X

LeeTTCRainbow · 09/06/2021 07:46

6Dpo today woken up feeling abit nauseous and had some cramping last night and this morning along with lower back pain last few days, anyone else similar?

Hdujsjdjdbru · 09/06/2021 08:39

Hey ladies, I got my BFP this morning!! Still in shock to be honest.
@LeeTTCRainbow I've had no symptoms at all leading up to this BFP! I have my fingers crossed for you and everyone else here x

Danni744 · 09/06/2021 09:04

@Hdujsjdjdbru OML CONGRATULATIONS 🤩🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉💝✨!!! I love a bit of positive news this is amazing congratulations!!!!!!!!! Are you keeping it to yourself for a Father’s Day surprise or does he already know?! SPILL THE BEANS 😍😍!!!

@LeeTTCRainbow morning hun! Well I’ve had the cramps from the day after ovulation and sore breasts up until today, they’re much better today. But unfortunately for me this is nothing new as I have PCOS so around mid month I get the signs of pregnancy/implantation. I’ve noticed it from last year xx

Really hoping yours mean something and that you’re following in the footsteps of*@Hdujsjdjdbru* 😍🤩
