Clearblue faulty test "science"

I got a positive frer this am at 11dpo. Decided to test on a digital. Bought a packet of 2. Both errored! Anyhow, I just decided to dismantle one and thought it was pretty interesting if anyone's curious. They look to just have a regular test inside and a scanner that scans the line on the result. I got the little book error message on the test. Weirdly when I dismantled it I can see a pretty obvious blue line! I'm not sure what it's problem was to make it error. I think the wee went a bit cold but otherwise I followed the instructions.

I think the digital ones always have two lines inside

The digital ones always have two lines. They work in a completely different way than ones meant to be read by eye.

You're right, I just looked it up online. They do have a second line always and it's supposed to be dark if pregnant and light if not. Mine is somewhere in the middle. I'm gonna retest with a frer tomorrow anyhow as that had a line. I don't know why neither clear blue worked tho.

Is there a reason for the retest tomorrow? A positive on an frer is a positive.

I've had 2 positives on a frer before that were faint and came to nothing. I was trying to confirm using a digital although I'm only 11dpo so early. Both said they had errored at which point I thought why not see what's on the inside.
