Hi all,
This might be a stupid post and I do apologise if so..
I’ve had irregular periods for a while and undergoing some investigations for them. I’m not ttc at the moment. Currently on day 40 of cycle so decided to test and got this instantly. Only now I’m feeling period signs as though I’m about to come on today.. is there any likelihood of this not being positive?!
Freaking out a bit, sorry.

Sorry I should have said, the test is a mommed one from Amazon. I’ve never used these before and wondering if I’ve done something wrong somehow.

Mommed are known for having less dye too, I’ve never got a strong positive on one! That one is very very positive.

That's a blaring positive result. If you're unsure, test again with FRER

I would say that is a full blown positive. Maybe try a clearblue digital to give you indication of how far along if you're uncertain

Thank you. I will get a FRER tomorrow. I’ve done another Mommed and have a much fainter result this time. I guess that makes sense as I’ve been drinking water..

For reference this is my latest mommed test, taken with first morning urine, and my clearblue is coming up at 2-3 weeks

Thanks all. I have bought a FRER so will do that in the morning. Not sure what the result I want is to be honest but at least I’ll know. Thank you.

Make sure you use your first wee of the day and dip the test, don't pee ONTO it

Yes - 3 FRERs later and it’s confirmed! 2-3 weeks according to the Clear Blue dating test.. I’m pretty shocked but over the moon!
