Hi!
I'm new to MumsNet, and am just wondering if anyone has been through the process of Clomid/Metformin/Letrazole or other fertility drug via private clinics? Or did you get your medication via the NHS?
I can't seem to find a clinic or insurer who will help me with medication on its own without IVF etc.
I've had all my initial investigations with the NHS and I am so grateful, but the waiting times are so long for the actual medication and care package so ideally I'd like to move over to private care for this portion of the journey.
Any advice or recommendations would be so welcome. I'm based in Manchester, but willing to travel to clinics.
Thank you xx

Hi @PCOSWarrior. Search for a clinic that offers ovulation induction. Mine (in London) offered me it as an option yesterday but it involves scans, a trigger shot and the medication so may involve a few trips.

Nhs do it but they’ve not been very helpful for me, although I know people who have had it through them. Whoever you get it with make sure you get monitored/scanned for OHSS.
