Clear blue - can evaps be blue?

So I'm 8dpo today (8-10 but leaning 8) so early I know 🙈

I tested this morning with a clear blue early. Thought it was negative at 3 minutes then at 5 minutes (within the time limit) saw a shadow (top pic)

Couldn't tell if had colour and was VERY faint/ a shadow so tried to forget about it

Went back to it because clearly I like to torture myself and it's darker and BLUE (still faint but definitely the right blue)

So there was something squinty there before it dried so my question is can evaps dry blue??? What is the chance this is an early positive?
The photos don't show the colour but the top couldn't see colour in real life at 5 mins but a line the. The rest can see a blue coloured line but hours later.

Next time I'll throw it away so I can't look but for now I'm driving myself mad!

CB are notorious for false positives - it's not necessarily evaps but the blue dye seems more susceptible to dye runs.

I'd say try a pink dye test instead!

Would a dye run be the proper line shape/size as in not a smudge but where a positive line would be?

@firsttimemummy321 I think you're probably best leaving it 2/3 days and testing again. It's too early really at 8DPO though I totally get the temptation!

@pizzaobsessed thank you. Yeah I know it's early I caved 😂🙈 but now I've seen this it's driving me mad guessing ...my own fault but just wondered if anyone else had had a blue line appear and be false 🙈

Yes I've seen quite strong false positives on CB that looked completely as you'd expect! A few ladies on my other thread has had them. Confirmed neagtive on all other tests though so def not CPs.
