BFP after chemical

Hi ladies,

I had a chemical last month on cycle 9. Currently 11DPO and received my BFP. I just need to tell someone as my husband is in work and I'm feeling so emotional and scared.

I promised I wouldn't test this early but I couldn't help myself. I also think I need to know even if it ends in another chemical because I have been referred to the fertility clinic.

I have an autoimmune disease and although my latest bloods were fine, my GP thinks it's sensible that I am reviewed properly. He mentioned baby aspirin but said he wouldn't be in a position to tell me take it or not.....do you think I should start taking it?!

@Herbert1
Sorry for your previous loss and the worry you have atm
I had a chemical then the following cycle got my bfp who is now asleep upstairs :) so I completely understand the worry and am here if you'd like to talk 💕
Personally I wouldn't take anything until you've been advised to by a dr
I also have an autoimmune disease but I suppose each is so different in the effect it might have
🤞🏻 for you

Thanks for your kind message. Feeling more optimistic this evening after telling DH when he finally got home from work! I really hope we have a happy ending like yours 🤞

Hello lovely,

Biggest congrats on your BFP!!

I had a chemical end of September last year, I then got a BFP 20th April this year. I'm 10+1 today (already had 3 private scans cause I'm an anxious mess) but my dr told me it's very normal for a first pregnancy to be a chemical & they call it a 'Flush out' (personally don't like the term) and he said with 2nd pregnancy, you got a great chance of a healthy pregnancy - hope this gives you some kind of peace as I fully know how stressful it can be! I tested everyday maybe 1 or 2 times, until about 6 weeks when I had my first scan! Xx
