Clear blue ovulation

So I finally got a flashy smiley face. What are my next step (other than dtd). Should I be testing morning and evening during this phase?

I started using them 5 days ago.. 1st day- O 2nd- flash smile - 3rd day flashing smile - 4th am flashing smile/ pm static smile on my 5th today! Tbh me and my partner have only had "fun" once a day on 3 4 5 .. but hoping its enough

@Fawkespheonix I test each morning until I get a flashing smiley. Once I get that I test twice a day (morning and afternoon) until I get they static smiley, as to not miss it! X

Hi. I started on may 30. I got a blank circle and then same on the 31st. I been getting flashing smile even today. And am spotting a bit a well which means I will be getting my period soon. I don’t know what’s happening.

@Fawkespheonix hey lovely, how long is your cycle usually?
My cycle is usually 31 days give or take a day and I started using the sticks on CD10 and got my startic on CD13 in the evening.. I ovulated on CD14 in the evening so I still have 2wks and a few day until AF is due.. did you start using them quite late in your cycle? X

Thank you for your reply. So I have irregular periods. When I am regular mine starts on the 7th each month. I am guessing I started later? Why would I get flashing smile if I started late?

If you have irregular periods you may just ovulate later.. I think the flashing smiles are eastrogen rise and the static smiley is the LH surge and than ovulation follows shortly after.. ive read on here that some woman get flashing smiles for almost 2 weeks before they get their surge.
So what CD or you currently?

I am day 1 and currently on my first day of period. So I did have a full hormone checkup and everything is normal. My irregular period (what my doc told me) is due to my weight. So when I lose weight my period tends to become a bit regular and day 1 is on the 7th of each month.

I started testing on may 30 got a blank on 30 and 31. I started flashing smile on June 1st. So either I started testing late or i got flashing due to rise in my estrogen (af on it’s way) or opks don’t work for me lol.

Oh I see.. with your CB does it give you ideal dates to start testing from?
It said for me to test around the 11th i think but I was impatient.. maybe it was a bit late.. but there's always this month x
