5 days late BFN? Anyone going through/ been through the same?

Hiya,
My AF is 5 days late. I tested 2 days late and 5 days late and got BFN (used first response, clear blue digital and clear blue 6 days early). I have a pretty regular cycle and if I am late it is only by a day or 2, so I don't understand what's going on. I haven't yet started to track my ovulation so don't know when I did. Is there a chance I could have ovulated late or something - but even then surely it would have showed up on the test by now? I am presuming it is just an odd late period, but when you're TTC you can't help but hope however unlikely. Any stories of people who have had a similar situation or anyone else going through this now?
Thanks x

Hi @TTCfirstbabyx I track my ovulation and roughly every 6 months I ovulate late. I go from having regular 33 days cycles to 42 days. It's not uncommon and happens due to stress, ill health, etc. It's nothing to worry about but is frustrating when TTC x

@TTCfirstbabyx do you track our ovulation? The first phase of your cycles can vary sometimes because of random reasons. Medications, stress, being sick a couple of days to name a few. The luteal phase after your ovulation on the other hand is very regular. So if the first phase is lobger, you're still not necessarily late. If the second phase is longer, you're actually late.
Which means yes, it's still possible to be pregnant. Or you're not late yet and just have a longer cycle. Sorry I know that answer will bring you no clarification :)

@Bundaberg84 @ChangeIsStrange Thank you very much for your replies! I guess I shall just have to be patient and wait and see … easier said than done haha
Thanks again!
