Expecting AF on Sunday

Anyone expecting AF on Sunday and still getting BFN's? Would love to have a little support group of daily testers to talk each other down after the BFN's

Hey lovely, I'm also due on Sunday and getting bfn but it's still early so try to stay positive 😊
I got a bfp at 16dpo after testing up until 13dpo and getting bfn and then spotting at 14/15dpo which I thought was af. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage but it's common not to get a bfp until after you're due af. That's why they say to wait, easier said than done lol.
I tested at 7am and bpn but a lot can happen in 4 days 😁😊

ALittleOCD · 26/05/2021 07:47

@Dreamer30 Exactly the same happened to me.. I am so sorry for your loss..

It stresses me so much not having an early BFP as I'm worried that it's a sign that if I do get a BFP it's going to end up in another MC.. I had mine in March.

Holding thumbs for us both.

I tested yesterday and today on FMU and both completely stark white.. not even a little hint.

I'm sorry for your loss also OP 😔 mine was last month so I have that thinking the same as you. It's difficult to stay positive but I'm finding hope in hearing that you're more fertile after a MC.
Keep me updated, hopefully we get a happy ending this time 😊

Bundaberg84 · 26/05/2021 12:01

@ALittleOCD you're still 4 days before AF, many won't get a positive by then. Do you know how many dpo you are?

ALittleOCD · 26/05/2021 12:03

@Bundaberg84 I don't know 100% for sure but I should be around 12dpo

OP posts:
Bundaberg84 · 26/05/2021 12:04

And implantation can also happen as late as 12dpo so you wouldn't get a positive yet ;)

ALittleOCD · 26/05/2021 12:13

@Bundaberg84 Thank you for the reassurance.. Where about are you in your cycle at the moment?

OP posts:
LivingLaVidaCovid · 26/05/2021 12:16

Do you think early testing helps?
I am worried its an somewhat obsessive slippery slope...

I am trying with my DH but decided not to test until my period is two weeks late which i thought was very early and a bit obsessive (and no testing has occurred so far as it's never been late 😂😭)

ALittleOCD · 26/05/2021 12:18

@LivingLaVidaCovid You are probably doing the most rational thing.. I am only testing due to the fact that if I don't I'm going to loose my mind Blush

I have "symptoms" but they're the same as normal AF symptoms.. so who knows. Some people on here have been getting positives at 9DPO so I keep hoping I might be that person but I never am Envy

OP posts:
Bundaberg84 · 26/05/2021 12:30

@ALittleOCD 12dpo, like you :) and I didn't test yet, but it takes a lot of willpower. @LivingLaVidaCovid it's a personal choice, but I know it's not good for me to test early. I can't handle half-positives or anything that could potentially maybe turn into a positive later on. Others can handle it perfectly fine, but like I said, it's nothing for me. It's outside of my control anyways.

ALittleOCD · 26/05/2021 12:31

Well let's hope that our little thread here is a lucky one

OP posts:
LivingLaVidaCovid · 26/05/2021 12:43

I'd love if it was. 😂😂😂

Honestly I was sure I was pregnant about 2 months ago. I had "symptoms" and had nausea and all sorts and then my period rolled up right on time.
In the last month 3 close friends have all announced pregnancies (various stages).
My husband announced the third pregnancy in the middle of a work day before my annual review and a big client meeting (our best man and his wife are 8 weeks pregnant) and I just broke down crying.

He was upset I was upset Confused and said he thought it was great news HmmConfused I wish he would just fucking think sometimes. On the plus side there is virtually no one left we know who can get pregnant as they are all already pregnant

ALittleOCD · 26/05/2021 13:00

@LivingLaVidaCovid Oh gosh.. your post is so relatable.

My poor hubby. I am trying so hard not to talk about it all the time but it means I'm mostly quiet because it's really all I think about.

It's terrible when you can't feel excited because it's reminding you of what you wish you had. it's not that you're not happy for them. You just wish you could be experiencing the same excitement.

Hopefully we're all BFP's this month and can finally be excited too

Oh I'm glad I honestly feel I have gone a bit loopy and so am trying to stay the right side of sane.

We both spent decades fastidiously avoiding conception and assuming a laviscious look could knock someone up... sadly not true as we have discovered.

I also think on some level he is nervous "it's him"

Bundaberg84 · 26/05/2021 13:40

@LivingLaVidaCovid I feel you! Like they preached to us as teenagers, how fast you'll get pregnant, you don't even have to have sex to get pregnant. But I don't think I would teach my children any different :)

ALittleOCD · 26/05/2021 13:52

@LivingLaVidaCovid @Bundaberg84 I didn't think it would happen immediately but I thought it was pretty much a 100% chance every time you had sex.. then never did I ever think I would have a miscarriage.

🤣🤣🤣 Agreed.
My imaginary children will be using double contraception for any/all teen sex escapades and jumping up and down after for good measure.

@ALittleOCD agreed I thought it was well over 50% chance.
I started taking coq10 or whatever it's called. It's very expensive and I really am not sure it's doing anything.
I also did the ovulation strips from boots for a month (donated by now pregnant friend) and became obsessed I had "no eggs" as I never got two dark lines.
It culminated in my husband sitting on the bathroom floor with me crying while he rummaged through our bathroom bin to try and "piece together" my pee sticks to show a spike and that he was sure I had eggs Confused
poor bastard puts up with a lot (its a good job he loves me Grin)

ALittleOCD · 27/05/2021 08:20

@LivingLaVidaCovid That really made me laugh.. I'm sorry you're going through so many emotional ups and downs though.

Has anyone been having any symptoms they want to get off their chest?

Speaking of chests. My boobs have been sore for 2 weeks straight but might just be the fact that my hormones are extra sensitive since the MC?

OP posts:
Bundaberg84 · 27/05/2021 08:38

Ah yes and don't get me started about movies! Everyone seems to get pregnant after a one-night stand and they never end in a MC. And they only find out because they have to throw up.

@ALittleOCD I'm still having cramps, but mostly in the evening. Less bloated though then before. Yesterday both my legs hurt, like when you're having a flu or a cold? But it went away now. And yesterday I had an energy drink in the afternoon (a big brand is a client of mine) and it made me sick. Not "I have to go to the bathroom" sick, but enough to make me stop drink it.

ALittleOCD · 27/05/2021 08:42

@Bundaberg84

So on Sunday I had such bad cramps in my legs.. Never experienced it before. My wrist also suddenly started really aching.. Everything seems fine in that case now. When I did get a positive before my MC I had 0 symptoms.

I am still taking a cheapie test in the mornings when I wake up but still stark white.. Nothing AT ALL. Going to do my best to now hold off until Monday if AF doesn't arrive when expected on Sunday.

OP posts:
Bundaberg84 · 27/05/2021 08:45

@ALittleOCD when I was pregnant in February, I didn't have anything except cramps, that's why I was so surprised by the BFP. The month I had all the symptoms, there was nothing :)
But what I had (after the BFP though) was that metallic taste in my mouth. I don't have that now.

Dreamer30 · 27/05/2021 11:23

Hope everyone's doing okay today 😊 I done a cheapie today and got this faint line (bottom one) so I rechecked yesterdays that I thought was blank and there's a very very faint line, can barely just see it in this pic. So I have a clearblue digital there that I'm waiting another hour or so to do 😬 currently 12dpo

Dreamer30 · 27/05/2021 13:59

Girls I can't believe this! I have absolutely no symptoms! 😬🙈
