Evap line or positive?

Before I open a can of worms by telling DH, are these evaps or positives?

Have heard some people have had evaps on CB, though personally I never have. These came up within a few minutes but I'm concerned by the thinness.

If I am pg, it's really early. Maybe 8-9dpo.

What do you think?

Evap line or positive?

They definitely have colour but are very thin. Not sure if that’s relevant?

feliznavidad2 · 25/05/2021 20:32

They look really positive to me 😳 but the lines are thin. Got any FRER?

Itsmybirthday19 · 25/05/2021 20:33

No, I'm not TTC so don't keep any in stock. These were all the BP garage had.

Will get a FRER tomorrow

I mean, looking at that nice dark line it makes me think it's a positive!!!
It's not exactly the same test but this is my clear blue from yesterday, to compare this line thickness the other two ladies mentioned... I didn't know thickness mattered...
In any case, might be worth running out getting another test just in case?

Evap line or positive?

@VixFromThe6ix that's a good strong line! Makes me think mine is deffo an evap.

Surely you wouldn't get an evap on 2 separate tests though?

sarahc336 · 25/05/2021 21:11

Mmm I've had these type of very blue but thin lines on teaco tests and they were evaps. The line isn't thick enough for my liking, you'll need to test again inthink xx

sarahc336 · 25/05/2021 21:13

I also got the same two lines on two tests done with different wee. Maybe it was a chemical as I came in the next day but I'm not sure, I think they were more likely to be dodgy tests xx

VixFromThe6ix · 25/05/2021 21:13

What are the chances to get two evaps though??? I hope you get your confirmation when you retest. My fingers crossed for you

Itsmybirthday19 · 25/05/2021 21:16

Different wee - darker one at the bottom was first, then the other a little while later (only managed a dribble for that).

I've never had this with these tests before but I know it can happen so I'll try not to get excited.

Have ordered FRER so hopefully I will know definitively tomorrow.

Update: I did another CB which was positive and a FRER, which was negative.

Thought I'd better just check again today and got this. WTF?

I have an IUD, should I be worried about ectopic?

Evap line or positive?

Was it definitely a FRER, not a FRRR? The latter are nowhere near as sensitive.

You do need to be careful with a coil in, yes. Can you get another pink dye somewhere?

Itsmybirthday19 · 29/05/2021 18:47

Fair question and actually not sure which it was.

Thanks for the reply, I will try another pink dye test.

I've had five of these CB come up with a line since Tuesday.

I've bought the wrong First Response ones before. Very similar packaging, hence the question. I'd be amazed if you aren't pregnant.

sarahc336 · 29/05/2021 21:59

See that clear blue looks more a true line to me, the first ones you had were too thin. I'd just stick with pink ones though as blue ones are so hard to read in my opinion, good luck xx
