11 dpo symptoms

Hi everyone!

I am 11dpo and wanted everyone's thoughts on symptoms...soreu if tmi!

7dpo - 3 or 4 sharps cramps in what felt like left side

8dpo - teeny amount of brown spotting

9dpo - hot flashes, run down, diarrhoea

10dpo - some cramps, tired, cold all day

11dpo - noticed blue veins on my arms and chest but not especially on my boobs at the mo.

What does everyone think? When should I test?

I'm due on Friday (15 dpo)

Honestly I've found it so hard today not to be totally consumed by TTC 😔 I think it will be a miracle if I get BFP on Friday as I'm not really feeling it at all. On the plus side I have my SIL coming to stay with us at the weekend, and she normally arrives loaded with wine 🍷

@Rudyroo I'd be lying if I said I hadn't had days like this, it's such a roller-coaster isn't it. Some days I feel really hopeful, then others like "nah, not happening".

I've read so many stories about no symptoms at all though, and actually if I rationalise it as why would you have symptoms before testing, this makes sense in my mind! If you wouldn't even test positive, then obv it's too early for any symptoms surely?!

YES to wine!! If I'm neg ill be drinking a lot if wine on Sunday 😂😁

@Rudyroo so you'd have to tell her if you test positive?

@Bundaberg84 nah I think I would just go out and buy some nonalcoholic wine and get DH to pour the drinks (that old trick!) or make up some excuse to do with migraines (which I do get to be fair). Wouldn't tell anyone apart from DH for a while I don't think.

@Eanrcs88 oh yeah! I hear ya. How long have you been TTC?

I caved a day early and did a test - BFN. I'm absolutely gutted (again). I knew it was coming but it doesn't stop this horrible sinking feeling inside, I'm going to have a good cry and come off MN for a while I think, need to try and become less obsessed with it and enjoy life. Hi there, I am around 11dpo today. I tested 9dpo and couldn't see a line I tested again last night though and couldn't see anything but the light wasn't great. Left it in the side and sulked off. I was going to Chuck it today and checked and saw the smallest shadow of a line super faint.. I know it kind of doesn't count outside of the waiting time but it's given me a little hope! It's still early days. I have another test arrived tomorrow and I'm due on Saturday so I will test Saturday morning if AF hasn't arrived! X

11dpo corrected*. Don't think I ovulated until 16th dtd 14/15th x

@Eanrcs88 I stupidly tested this evening after having a lot of water, with a non early test. Of coursa BFN. Now I'm just angry at myself 😖

I am supposed to be due on today. All my cycles are 30 days since coming off the pill in December, although last month it was 5 days late. No idea why! Had a family bereavement so putting it down to stress.

(also I came off the pill early to try to understand my cycles, I was on it for like 14 years maybe, this is our first month ttc)

Anyway, if cycle has gone back to normal I should be due on today. Have some cramps but nothing major.

I still will test tomorrow if period doesn't come.

@FayLiv @Bundaberg84 are you both going to test again today?

If I get bfn I will probs try opk this month just to make sure I know when ov is. This month just used Flo app and ewcm.

@Eanrcs88 I'm not sure. I have a clear blue early detection test coming today but don't know whether I should wait until tomorrow morning for FMU. My period is due tomorrow so it makes sense to wait and see if that appears. It's tempting when you have a test in front if you though!

@Eanrcs88 with the negative test yesterday evening I was too sad and disappointed to test again today. If AF doesn't arrive today, I will test tomorrow. I had a test that has 99% accuracy on the day after you missed your period, and I took in the evening, so yeah I guess there's still a chance, but I don't want to test today just for AF to arrive later on.

I tested day my period was due (Friday) and negative. Still no period though?!

@Eanrcs88 yes! I started spotting, bleeding didn't start. Was one day late yesterday so took a test at a mall, to know if I can safely have sparkling wine. Was negative, told DH and had a nice day with a friend. Had BBQ in the evening. Tested again because still no bleeding. After 3 minutes I saw the faintest line. Very confused. So no drinks, thankfully our friends cut down their alcohol so they weren't suspicious. Tested this morning with the fertility monitor - BFP! I was so shocked, I tell you! Can't believe it yet. 16dpo, 2 days late. Fingers crossed it will ve similar with you!🤞

Oh my that's amazing congratulations!!! I can't believe you got a bfn then a bfp, ahhh lovely!

We're due af Friday too??

I tested Friday when I was due on, not even a smidge of a line, but still no period or spotting. Having a drink today but think I'll test again tomorrow if no period.

@Eanrcs88 yes, Friday as well. I tested negative Thursday. I even get up at night and took it out of thw garbage can to look at it again. Stark white haha!
And the one yesterday was really negative as well. But maybe I should've waited a bit longer.
Yes, test again tomorrow if AF hasn't shown up by then. My friend only got her BFP 3 days overdue. And her baby boy is now 4 months old ;)

@Eanrcs88 My period came today absolutely livid 😩😂

I've learnt not to put my life on hold during the process, it's totally consumed my thoughts everyday. The tracking ovulation and then dtd the right days, then worrying if I've done it enough and then symptom spotting. It's torturous. No doubt it'll resume next month but I'm determined it won't consume the whole month. I need to bare in mind I conceived both of my other children without tracking thinking about the best days at all!

Hi ladies

Just an update from me, no period still, tested again last Monday bfn, going to test again tomorrow.

Any ideas what could be going on? Today is cycle day 40! No symptoms at all now!

@Eanrcs88 do you track your ovulation?

I don't do opks, just tracking via app/cm.

I might by some test strips next time though!

I can off the pill in December, the first few cycles were regular then the last one and this one really long??

@Eanrcs88 it's totally possible that you had a late ovulation. I'm off the pill for years, have a very regular cycle but wvery now and then, the cycle was longer. Stress, illness, medication... So many reasons for a late ovulation.
The problem is that you only know if you're late of you know when you ovulated.

Currently on CD 59 and nothing :(

Definitely go for a checkup but try not to worry too much. It took the best part of a year for my cycles to go back to being properly regular after the pill. Before the pill it was every 28 days exactly.

It was crazy after the pill. 26 days, then I’d have a 40 day, 3 x 28 days, then a 22 day, then a 50 day...it was ridiculous
