Clear blue empty circle

Hi guys.
I'm feeling a bit low today
I am 9 months into TTC number 1, I had an early miscarriage first cycle & nothing since. My cycles are 29-31 days (although did get a random 27 last month),
I used clear blue for 3 months then stopped for a couple of months.

On those other months I had one circle on day 10 then 3-4 flashing then static.

This month starting on CD10 I've had 5 days of empty circles. On the other months I'd be expecting a static any day having already had flashing smileys.

Anyone ever had this before? I am also feeling incredibly stressed about some work deadlines. Could this have made a difference? Or my shorter cycle last month?

This is all getting too much, how can someone have unprotected sex for 9 months and not be pregnant?!

Thank you x

Hi @Kipkay35 it could be stress causing you to ovulate late. I've had really long and really short cycles since my miscarriage but I'm sticking with tracking it even if it is frustrating!!

Some months I ovulated CD11 then last month it was CD19!?

Isn't it crazy how some people fall pregnant unexpectedly but for some of us all the planning and timing doesn't get us a baby, it's so disheartening but keep going x

I've been trying and had a miscarriage similar timing as you. Spoke to my GP last week, who said its apparently normal for some women for hormones to be very off after a miscarriage for a few months. My cycle is definitely different to previously - its consistently 4-7 days shorter than it was before the miscarriage.
So thinking my hormones may be a bit unbalanced, I started acupuncture last month to see if I can resolve it.
Are you temping also? Its actually way way easier than I thought, and has put my mind at rest because I can see that I am ovulating - opk's had gone a bit crazy

Sorry for your loss Thanks.

Cycles can be very off after a mc. Mine was off until I conceived again, 8 months later. Do you use cheapies too? You may be ovulating later than you think.

It has been 8 months since your mc and you're overwhelmingly likely as statistics go to be pregnant again by September.

Thanks everyone, that's really helpful. I saw a friend yesterday who told me she is pregnant, I was inwardly devastated but obviously (tried) to be happy for her, then she told me she's gone through two rounds of IVF which none of us knew about. I guess everyone has their struggles.

Is it a good idea to use cheapies too? Is clear blue not accurate? I naively thought I'd be in the 'relax and it'll happen' group last month...

@Kipkay35 I spent a fortune on clear blue and both times I've fallen pregnant I didn't bother with them and just did cheapies 4x per day.

Test outside of first morning urine
I had 2 months of CB testing all fine then 3rd month was full of empty circles but I knew I was ovulating by CM so I tested again the the afternoon and got a static! Never used CB again after that but definitely try different times of day and more than once a day if other signs of ovulation

Also I'm cycle 10 and nothing. That's with full on tracking, off pill for 2 years. Normal bmis, above average sperm analysis and no known issues with myself. Its not easy especially not knowing why. Also I have taken to using easy@home tests. It's easier to see the lead up to ovulation and its a lot cheaper. Been using them for 3 months now and wouldn't change

Another empty circle today. So depressing to see an empty circle Confused

Are the lines on the stick getting any darker?

Good question, I'll check in the bin when I get home!
