Early ovulation after MC?

I had my first period after having a MMC and surgical management. The period came 26 days after my ERPC and was very heavy.

Today I tested ovulation (day 9) and its coming up as a solid smiley. Could I have ovulated this early?

We dtd last night and I really didn't want to get pregnant this cycle as just not ready

The solid smiley tests for an LH surge and after an MC you could be having a wonky cycle where you end up with more than one surge. You'd only ovulate at the last one.

When do you normally ovulate?

Usually ovulate 14 days in so its very early

@Conundrum12345 I guess with a surge at CD9 you could be ovulating on CD11 which isn't crazy early. There's definitely a risk but I'd suggest you carry on testing in case there's another surge in a few days time.
