Question about Sperm Meets Egg Plan

Hi everyone,

we're trying to conceive our 2nd at the moment. Started ttc at the beginning of this year, bfp in February which unfortunately ended in early miscarriage at 4+5 weeks.

No success since then, so we've started with the sperm meets egg plan this cycle.

I'm just wondering as the plan says you should have sex every 2 days until you get a positive on an ovulation stick and then you start with the three-day marathon.

In my case, I get two days of EWCM before I get my positive ( solid smiley as I use Clearblue tests).

Which means that one of those days we don't have sex according to the plan although I get good quality EWCM. To me it seems like a waste of a day where your chances are good.

Wouldn't it make more sense to adjust the plan to have sex on all days you get EWCM including the 3 days from which you get your positive? x

Yeah I do a modified SMEP, and add in extra days. I think the point of the plan is to maximise the chances of couples who might not be having enough sex, and the every other day bit is to make it sustainable. Unless there are sperm problems, apparently its fine to do it every day, and it even increases your chances slightly
