Positive test then negative!

Hi all so I'm about 7 days away from AF and i took a test yesterday (super impatient) Anyways it came up instantly positive. Tested this morning and it's negative not even a slight faint line... nothing. I feel nauseous have had cramping and darker nipples. Why is it negative??? 😭

Hi @Mummylucy11 - what test did you use and when did you use them?

Cheap test was positive in the morning it turned positive really quick and quite dark then cheap test and brand test negative the next morning completely negative not even faint 😭

That sucks @Mummylucy11! But you're still very early, of course it could be possible that one brand is more sensitive than the other who didn't pick it up yet. Did you take a picture of the positive?

Ah ok makes sense! I'm going out of my mind. I want this so bad so i Litrally can't think of anything else and why can't it just be simple!? I'll update in a few days. Thank you so much for your help xx

You're not alone, the TWW is driving us all mad :) that's why there are so many threads of it in this forum alone. We're all going together through this!

🤞🏻 I had a line like this and wasn't pregnant in a one step test was so obvious and pink as well :( the tests you've used since are they less sensitive maybe?

I'm not sure? I'm guessing after some research its possibly a chemical? I'm just gutted i got my hopes up.

Really hope you get a positive 🙏 I am on my first ever TWW and I am so impatient. Only my first month of trying, what on earth!

@Mummylucy11 sorry lovely! It could have been a chemical or a faulty test. How many dpo are you now?
@Charliecircle11 the first month was, hands down, the worst month for me. The second one was better. I think it's all the stuff I learned about TTC, my body, and every new info I read I thought "that's me!" haha

@Bundaberg84 I think with stopping the pill, I really don’t know where I am with my cycle. Really not sure when to test! Going to try and hold out as much as possible and not test until two weeks past ovulation. (Well when the OPK told me I was ovulating-who knows!!!)

@Charliecircle11 that makes sense. When I went off the pill it took me at least three cycles until they were somewhat regular, one cycle was around 2,5 months long. But I didn't TTC then, so I didn't really care about that. And I wasn't in a relationship so I knew I wasn't pregnant, otherwise I would have tested every other day probably :)
