TTC & not tracking ovulation?

Hello everyone!!

I am 31. Just waiting for AF to arrive and then I will be moving on to cycle 2 ttc#1. I was just wondering, has anyone had success TTC and not track ovulation? I am new to thread and all the OPK talk and BBT tracking is really overwhelming! I have PCOS so want to avoid going down that route. Basically, i want to see that it is possible to not track these things, dtd regularly and have pcos?

Back story - I came off pill in December. 1st af took 44 days to arrive, 2nd af arrived 43 days after that, 3rd arrived 34 days later. I am now on cd33 waiting for AF to arrive whenever she decides to! I think i am out this month as i think i focused to much on my ‘fertile’ week which may not have actually been my fertile week🤷🏻‍♀️ Any input welcome xx

Yes of course, both my SIL never tracked ovulation (only with an app / calendar) and also two of my close friends didn't. It's not always necessary to track ovulation with opk or temperature, but if you're trying for a while without luck you might feel like you want to have a bit more control or want to learn more about your body.

@Bundaberg84 thanks for your response! I will try for another few months not using opks or worrying too much about bbt and see how i get on! Just regular dtd and logging my cycles on flo and ‘listening to my body’ about ovulation! I did get pain a few weeks after af so i think i can ‘feel’ when i ovulate and also CM! Smile x
