Hi ladies,

I’m new to mumsnet but have read many things as been trying to conceive since December. Today I did this test. My period is due today day CD27 and I forgot to do OPKs this month so not sure at all when I ovulated. Does this test look positive or like an evaporated line? Thank you xxx

Hi @Lucyh179, are you a new user? If so, you have to wait 48 hours to add pictures x

ShowOfHands · 21/05/2021 14:36

If you're new, you won't be able to post a pic for a couple of days. You could post it on an image sharing site and link?

Lucyh179 · 21/05/2021 14:37

Has this worked?

I can see the pictures... @Lucyh179 that's a pretty clear positive.

Congratulations!! Was this with your FMU? Smile x

Iworry2021 · 21/05/2021 14:42

This looks like a clear positive! Congratulations 😊😊😊🎉

ShowOfHands · 21/05/2021 14:43

Absolutely 100% clear positives. Congratulations.

Lucyh179 · 21/05/2021 14:44

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much, I didn't know if I was going mad! It was FMU this morning but I couldn't quite believe it! I'm sure you all understand but when you've done so many and seen the same result, you sort of doubt it! Hope it sticks! Xx

Iworry2021 · 21/05/2021 14:45

I'm sure it will stick!

Do you have many pregnancy symptoms? x

Lucyh179 · 21/05/2021 14:48

To be honest this month stood out as I normally get 5 ish days of spotting before my period and this month I didn't have anything. I didn't expect to feel anything this early but I have felt a bit nauseous and dizzy and having/had some cramping that I hope is totally normal. I felt like I was going to come on last night but when I didn't, I did the test this morning. I'm overjoyed 😀

Cramping is totally normal. I had that in my pregnancy as well in the first trimester and now have a 9 month old.

Lucyh179 · 21/05/2021 15:08

Thank you! It is good to know that. I think every thing can be a little scary with your first!

@Iworry2021 Hope you are doing well with your 9 month old!
