Hi all,
So I came off the mini pill in January. Took 6 weeks for a period to finally come, and since then have had a regular 27/28 day cycle.

I'm in this 2ww and honestly driving myself insane. Had a internal scan on cd21 as was having pain, turns out a have a cyst on my left ovary. They are going to rescan to check it out some more. My doc also said they could see my corpus luteum. And that the cyst may be related to that. Not sure what this means she said could you be pregnant I said I hope so as I'm ttc. I'm currently on cd25 done an internet cheapy and it's a bfn. Do you think there's still a a chance for me this month. My boobs have felt so heavy and bruised the last week, and I don't know if it's af coming or pregnancy. Sorry for the post being all over the place first time poster! Thank you!

Do you know when you ovulated and how many days after ovulation you are?

I'm not sure no, I don't track it bar using the Ovia app. Normally it's the same a week after af has left when it gives me a 6 day window of fertility. This time around though it has put it from the 11th to the 16th as my cm was different I believe. So it says I'm due af on the 25th, but 7 days before I should do a pregnancy test, so the 28th? If af does come I would be 4 days into my period on the 28th. I'm so confused, the doctor said my corpus luteum is closed? So I have been googling and I can't make much sense of it. Just frustrating I know I need to wait and see if af arrives on the 25th and if not then maybe I'm still in. Just hate being In this limbo, and confused with this corpus luteum talk from the doctor. Okay that's really complicated :) I might need another coffee. But either way, 25th or 28th, you're still early. If we say your AF is due 25th, and we assume your luteal phase is 14 days, your ovulation was 11th. That would mean you're now 10dpo. If it was 16th, you're 5dpo. The truth will be somewhere in between I guess.
So at 5dpo, the implantation wouldn't even happen yet. And at 10dpo, over 1/3 will get a false negative.
It's not science, right, every woman is different. But you know that you're not out yet. It's just a stupid waiting game :)

Thankfully I'm close to the end of the wait for af, so if she comes along I know either way and if she doesn't then I guess that's when my hope will kick up a notch! Really want this, but I'm trying to not put my hopes up too much. What you have said has made more sense then what I have read online as it all just confuses me! 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

How are you getting on OP?? I'm also in the tee, and am 10dpo today! So nervous for this cycle and trying my best not to symptom spot! Xx

@Motheroftenrec have everything crossed for you! I'm trying so hard not to symptom spot. Have only been trying a few months but I just want it to happen already! I feel this time could be it, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high because then I'm really upset when af arrives! And I know we haven't been trying long, but I'm kinda like why hasn't it happened yet, when I managed to fall pregnant on the pill it ended up being a chemical pregnancy last year. So I'm off the pill and like what is going on come on already! So far the one thing that is different to normal is the really heavy sore boobs normally they are slightly tender on and off before af but this time it's constantly sore. I don't know if I'm imagining other things or not 🤦🏼‍♀️ only a few days left for us both to know! How are you feeling? Xx

So have just been toilet and tmi but have a bit of spotting when I wiped light pink and a piece of stringy red? Took a pic Af isn't due until the 25th!! I always spot the day before af but never earlier, also have some tinges in my back and some mild cramping 😔 maybe I'm out this month x
