@amyannx yes it came up right away, I had been cramping for the last 2 days, hoping I’ve only just implanted and it’ll get stronger 🤞🏻Xx

@sylvie1001 I would say it's a bfp then hun, congratulations I had the same cramping for a few days like af was coming, this was my test it was very faint at 9dpo the next day I tested and it was a little darker x

@amyannx I have no idea how many dpo I am but based on last period I'm about 4 weeks now. This test definitely had a stronger line than when I had a CP though which has got to be a good sign right? It wasn't FMU either which also points the right way I think

@RockyisMYRhino yes that's a very good line! My line didn't look like that until around 14dpo but I did test from 9dpo when I got my first bfp but it was sooo faint! Xx

Hi everyone, and congratulations to those who've had lovely BFPs this month - great news!

I'm in cycle 2 ttc now, this month we're doing what the doctor ordered and having sex every 2 days throughout my cycle, not tracking ovulation, taking all the vitamins I can muster and hoping for the best. As I'm over 40, if this month doesn't work out then I'm asking my GP for fertility tests to see if there's anything I can reasonably do to up my chances.

Currently on CD10 and trying not to think about it too much! Good luck to everyone :)

@purpleskyssssss No problem 🙂 yes I'm just as bad for googling things, still do but I am trying to stay away from it more so now.
Thank you! This will (hopefully) be my second baby but im just a little anxious as it's so early. I didn't find out with my little boy until I was around 6/7 weeks!

@K8Tee I fell pregnant in summer 2018 - WORLD CUP! I didn't know I was pregnant until around 6/7 weeks and I was out most weekend with partner and friends and I just continued as normal and drank. Obviously I stopped as soon as I find out. I told the midwife I'd had a few heavy weekends and I felt very guilty about it and she told me not to worry, it won't have done any damage and lots of people do it because they don't actually know they're pregnant. I now have a happy and healthy 2 year old son. I'm pregnant again but haven't been drinking at all just due to mum life and lockdown so not being able to go out.. I'm also not a drinker at home. If I was due to go out with friends while TTC, I would still carry on as normal. Maybe not go too wild but I'd still have a few drinks. It's totally up to you and whatever you feel comfortable with! Xx

@sylvie1001I can see a vvv faint line.. my FRER was like this a couple of weeks ago too when I got my BFP. Test again tomorrow with FMU and hopefully it will be darker xx

@AlmostLondoner keep me posted! I’ll test again —everyday— sunday to see if there’s line progression!

Thanks @Confused678866, that's exactly it isn't it, most people wouldn't wouldn't know so early. I thought about testing just in case but in reality 5 or 6dpo isn't going to show up regardless. Haha mumlife, I hear ya on that one lol 😆 x

@K8Tee Yeah that's it, if it was a little later then I'd say to test but it's quite early isn't it! Just do what you feel comfortable with 😊 xx

@Confused678866 yeah I have a appointment at the hospital with the midwife on the 11th of June to do all the checking in and test and collect my notes it says, I will be 8 and half- 9 weeks then, only got the letter on Wednesday x

@amyannx That's fab! I have a sneaky suspicion that my forms haven't even made it to the midwife at my GP practice. The lady on the reception didn't seem to know much and I can't prove that my forms have been sent across or not! I sent the forms 2 weeks ago and haven't heard a single thing xx

@Confused678866 oh no really! I had to fill out a form online to self refer myself then I had a email saying I will have a appointment sent though within 2 weeks and I have, if it's much longer maybe ring up and ask xx

@amyannx I don't think I can self refer where I live? The doctors emailed me a form, I filled it in and emailed it back to the GP surgery and then apparently they send it over to community midwives.. but with that being two weeks ago, I still haven't heard anything, it just doesn't seem right to me. When I last called up, the lady on reception said I'd get an appointment at around 10 weeks but I don't know if she's right or not 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm 6 weeks tomorrow going from LMP so I'll give it about 7 weeks and then I'll call up I think xx

@Confused678866 oh ok maybe that's why it takes a little longer than mine then as I filled in a form and sent it to the early referral team myself, I rang my doctors and they told me i had to do it myself online, hopefully you hear soon with my son I think I was around 8-9 weeks with my booking in too x

@amyannx Yes I wish we could just self refer here where I live rather than relying on the GP practice to send the forms over. Even if I call the GP and ask if they've been sent over they'll just tell me to wait to hear from them no doubt!
See I can't compare to when I had my son because I didn't find out until around 6/7 weeks, had an early scan and then found out I was actually 10 weeks! So all of the appointments were pretty rushed! Xx

@amyannx Are you having any symptoms? Mine have disappeared a lot now so hoping all is still okay xx

@Confused678866 yeah it must be so frustrating having to wait! My boobs are a little tender but no where near as bad as what they were before! And apart from being a little bloated at times I have nothing really! I haven't been feeling sick but have lost my appetite to eat so having to force myself a little bit other than that nothing, a week ago I felt like I had lots of symptoms, hopefully it's all normal that are symptoms are slowly easing x
