Early period after miscarriage?

Hi all

Please could someone help me figure out my cycles?

My partner and I have been TTC since December 2020. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks in February. My cycles are usually very regular at 26 days but the last cycles was long at 31 days and this month is now short at 19 days!?

19 days is incredibly short isn't it!? Is this my body still adjusting after the miscarriage? What absolute rubbish that women fall pregnant quickly after miscarriage (sorry for the rant, feeling fed up today as found out a friend is pregnant and we should have been due 3 weeks apart)

This cycle, I ovulated on CD11 and 8 days later I started spotting on CD19.

I read online it could have been implantation but the bleeding got heavier (but not as heavy as my normal period and didn't have any clots) but it's now been 6 days of bleeding/spotting so I know it's defo my period. Has anyone else had such short cycles after MC?

Hey,

I had a chemical in February and my cycles have been all over the place and still are 🙈

I've had 36 and 41 day cycles ever since.
We started ttc straight away and yes I agree... it's purely luck if you fall pregnant straight away again 🙈

Sorry you're going through it too @monkeyy97 it's really sh*t isn't it!

My family kept telling me don't worry I'm certain you'll fall pregnant again quickly because we fell quickly the first time but I feel like my cycles are completely messed up still 😣

I've been using the clearblue ovulation sticks to try and keep track but my god they're expensive 🙈 have you been tracking you ovulation?

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter

For March and April I took a more relaxed approach and didn't bother tracking.

However this month I did use the clearblue opks.. 12 days of a flashing smiley!!! 😢 nearly gave up.. then on the 12th day I tested in the evening and got my static.
Managed to dtd the night before static and the day off so hopefully that covers us 🤞🏻
They are expensive but I find them so much less stressful than the little strip ones 🙈

The days and days of flashing smiley seem to go on forever! Glad you didn't give up and got your static. I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is your month 🤞🏻

They are expensive but definitely agree they are less stressful than the strips, I never seemed to get a clear peak with the strips so had no real idea of when I ovulated!

Xx

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter

It now just means I'm having yet again another long cycle which is super annoying 🤣 but I'm just glad I did ovulate as I wasn't sure I would being so late in my cycle again. I ovulated on CD22 🙈

It's totally normal, yes. After my chemical, the first was almost normal, the second was a lot shorter. They are back to normal now. I

Thanks @Bundaberg84 I thought that might be the case
