When to test?

Realistically do i need to wait until i have missed a period to test or is it reliable to test early?

Just wanted to see what everyones experience of this was?

Some get an early positive early on, many don't. Implantation can happen as early as 6dpo or even later than 12dpo, that's why the general advice is to wait out as long as you can. If you don't get too sad / frustrated with a negative test, then go ahead. There are whole threads of women testing daily starting 7dpo.
