Yesterday morning on a whim I did a pregnancy test. We are TTC but it’s far too early (5 days before I’m due AF). To our surprise it showed a very very faint line. This morning I have done another two and they are negative.
Was yesterday’s a mistake or is this a chemical pregnancy?

Are they the same brand of test? How many dpo are you? Maybe the only answer will be to try again tomorrow and hope that line develops x

I get this on a monthly basis. My fertility consultant agrees it is likely to be chemical pregnancies, caused by issues at or after implantation. Any line means there is hcg present. They are not uncommon. Keep testing until your period arrives though. Good luck.

If you were only 6dpo for the first test then it is virtually impossible you would get a positive as that is pretty much the earliest date implantation would happen so there wouldn’t be enough hcg to register on a test. I think you are best to just keep testing and fingers crossed something develops. X
