Yes I know it is unlikely to happen and I probably face more losses but I am adopting a positive mental attitude so at least I can say I tried my best

Any buddies?

Just wondering why u trying so late? Not judging just curious

Cashewcookie · 18/05/2021 22:15

I’m 43.5. Feel the same way, low expectations but trying my best.
I know lots of women who have had babies in early 40s (just not me).

Extrahotcoffee · 18/05/2021 22:29

How long have you been trying? Do you have any other kids? Judging by the posters on this forum, there are mums who have children at your and later, so I would say its definitely possible!

@allthequeenshorsesandmen
I have 1 dc and wanted more but tried and didn't happen. I've had a few miscarriages but we didn't want to try ivf so thought what will be will be.

I'm 23 weeks and I'm 44 in the autumn. Not planned. It can happen, good luck!

everydaysablessing · 18/05/2021 22:54

I'm 25 weeks at 44. Had my DD at 40 after two miscarriages, had three more trying for another baby. I'm on edge this entire pregnancy.

Congratulations @aboutbloodytime123 and @everydaysablessing

It's nice to hear positive stories

Hi yes I'm trying and 44.

All the nosey ninnies can keep their big fat beaks out because I will not answer your questions on why I'm TTC at 44 especially if you're smugly satisfied that you had your perfect 2.4 children before you hit 30.
