Hi everyone I’m new to this. We have an 8 year old daughter and have been ttc since jan. We haven’t been regimented but this month I tracked using an ovulation test (sorry I’m rubbish with the acronyms). We dtd on the static smiley and today is 9DPO. I have had mild cramping since the weekend and my boobs are sore. I have also noticed a lot more CM although it was looking a little Yellow today. I know the right answer would be to hold off testing until I’m due my period. But would it be too early tomorrow to test? Thanks xx

Hi @Nickynoo88 and welcome :)

Generally speaking yes, it might be too soon. As implantation can happen anywhere between 6dpo and 12dpo and it takes around 48h for hcg hormones to develop, chances to get a positive even when pregnant is low at 9dpo.
But if you're not too stressed out with a negative result, go ahead!

10dpo is kind of early to test but that's when I generally start testing... Like another poster said, if your not gonna feel too down if it's a BFN then start testing away, mama. During my last miscarriage, I was able to see a line at 10dpo on easy@home test. But the doctors say not to test till 12dpo,. I just don't have the patience 🤣

I am 9dpo today too and have took 3 tests already and all negative so my advice would be don’t do it to yourself lol this is my first cycle ttc and if i get af, i am going to make sure i have no tests in the house until the week of a missed af! I am already driving myself mad lol xx

Ok I couldn't help myself and took a test and it was negative. I know I probably should have waited. I guess it's not a definitive no as it could just be too early. The waiting game is so hard. Our first daughter was a surprise so we have never had to do this and just assumed it would happen straight away. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ahh I don’t know if anyone is even going to see this or respond as no one ever does for some reason 🤣 Does anyone on here have any heavy implantation bleeding stories or heavyish- I started spotting brown cm on May 15 my period wasn’t due till May 16 but it started May 15and it got a little worse and red but not as bad as my normal. Until today it’s almost completely stopped now my period is usually five days long - it’s only been 3? and it starts heavy first two days in the last three days it gets a little bit lighter does anyone know if stress can cause this help please

According to my app I am 14 dpo but I could have ovulated a couple days later.

Is anyone able to help. Trying to reason with myself that maybe I've got my days mixed up. It's the first month I've used a cb opk. I got my static smiley on the 10 after several flashing smileys the previous days. What day would I be now? Would I only be day 9 today? 🤷🏻‍♀️

So when the bleeding started, you were like 11dpo, around that?

Yes and on 11 dpo on my notes I was cleaning and had like a hot flash and got dizzy but I’m not sure.

Just going from the days it could very well be implantation bleeding. Did you take a pregnancy test?
