We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@notyetamumbuttrying we've had some tests and should have been called back for a follow up appointment but no sign of that so need to chase that up...I feel like something has gone amis, should have heard by now. We would have to go private for assistance but not crossing that bridge yet. Would just like some answers. Excited for you you and your impending ivf 😀 good you have been able to share with some friends.

Feel like DH and I have a row brewing, timing wise that's not too bad as I think I've got about 2 weeks until ovulation!

Tried to go for a run this morning but headphones were flat so just had to come home, need to hope the rain holds off and I can go later (if not I fear I'll have to use the horrible ski machine DH has in the garage!)

I've gone nuts and booked not only another eyebrow appt but also getting my tache waxed off professionally this week - I'm almost 35 and my tache is definitely getting worse!

I've just done battle with the dr's reception team to get an appt on CD21 for next lot of bloods, apparently it was highly unreasonable for me to request a specific date...!

My buddy at the fertility clinic got me an appointment for next week! I'm delighted because I thought the wait would be forever. Turns out this hospital does a lot of their work on paper so they can continue to offer appointments while all the health service's systems are down due to the cyber attack. Apparently today people's records will be going on the dark web because the government didn't pay the ransom. I'm trying to think if I have had any embarrass ailments over the years but I think I'm OK

Not looking forward to asking for the time off work because they can be so unreasonable but hopefully it'll be OK.

@larrythelizard I've had to wax my tache every 2 weeks for the last 2 decades lol. Just get those veet wax strips, takes 2 seconds and is super easy. Don't do it before going out or to work though as your skin will look a bit angry for a few hours afterwards potentially.

I've just booked my HCG bloods for Wednesday and Friday
And my 7 week reassurance scan 😩

It is a huge deal for me making that phone call again, I don't think I'm going to contact the midwives until after that scan do you think that is okay?

@blackcurrantqueen I think it's fine to wait until 7 weeks to call the maternity unit. I held off until just after 6 weeks. They don't really see anyone until after 8 weeks anyway as the chance of miscarriage is much lower by that point.

@Katao yeah I'm kind of doing the same. I've taken a step back. I'm still coming on and reading through to try and keep track of things every now and then, but I was dedicating too much time to it before. I don't think much is going to happen by itself and so it's pointless being over invested. So I'm trying to take time out. We are also away for a few days this week, so that'll be good. Or would have been had I not been spotting since ovulation. Makes feeling sexy somewhat impossible. 🙄

Worst case is your booking appt is slightly later @blackcurrantqueen but other than blood tests I don't think it would really matter if it was a few days later!

Rough day today... Just had a facetime with my dad and it bugs me that his carer is always babysitting her granddaughter and finds it appropriate to constantly shove the baby in my face all the time.. when they know the struggles I'm going through. Sat here bauling my eyes out coz it's not fair that her coked up daughter can have 2 kids and palm them off anytime she can so she can get drunk and wasted and I'm still not even able to have a normal fucking cycle 😭😭

On a different subject does everyone get lake spermo after? I felt dry as a bone this morning after 🍆 had me paranoid that he was pulling out so we didn't get pregnant yet ... Not that my fucked up body would let that happen anyway... Ugh!!

No not always lake spermo I assume levels of semen vary depending on male hormonal stuff and also angles of sex too.
