Welcome back to the bus where anything goes, hop aboard, tell us about you & we’ll be here for you (there’s a song in there somewhere!).

This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Your body has not died @Minster2012 it just might be a wonky month. You've ovulated (and caught and egg!!) once so you can deffo do it again. I feel like I'm a coach on a sports team or something so picture me with a whistle and a baseball cap!

@2020mission how are you feeling? and I agree about the furry dogs - one of my friends got an akita - the poor thing was hot this winter already! She sent a pic today with it and a big bowl of ice...

@Juno231 I’m feeling all right thanks! I’ve had a poor appetite for the last month and some nausea now and again but expected much worse. Other than that I don’t feel any different. I’ve not had a scan or anything so it doesn’t quite feel real yet. I feel like I deserve an award for waiting until the 12 week scan 😅 Your next fertility appointment must be soon? Everyone here deserves their BFP but I feel you do in particular as it’s just been long enough and you've been so helpful to all the MN conception board ladies with your knowledge. You definitely got me on track with BBT when I was clueless and it helped me massively with confirming ovulation and finding a pattern!

@Justanothercyster what age kids do you teach? Lovely weather for chilling in the garden. I'm okay thanks. Struggling in the heat a bit which is annoying as I love sunbathing normally 🙄

@2020mission I told my mum today it's twins and she just said "oh fuck" like it was a bad thing 🙄 she claims she's happy for us, just in massive shock. Our parents knew we had the positive test but we hadn't told them we had two embryos transferred. I hope I survive this 🤣

@Minster2012 haha book attached. She was the support act when I went to see comedian Romesh Ranganathan live in 2019 and have seen her on some comedy shows since. I bought the book a while back as I was intrigued to read about the IVF process from a comedy perspective. I've not finished it only about half way through but good so far!

I still can't get my head around the fact I have 2 babies in there. I'm almost 8 weeks now, hoping for a private scan this weekend but I've got a horrendous cold and normally always get a cough and if I do I won't be able to go 🤞

Hope all you ladies are doing okay and at least enjoying the heatwave! I'm exhausted and constantly playing catch up but I'm here lurking in the background.

@katao & @Juno231 I've had both my jags and both messed up my cycle. The first one I had a mini period of about 3 days long only about a week and a half after my actual period. The second one made my ovulation about a week late so it definite can mess with your cycle.

@Tornado2Inc what kind of witchcraft willpower does your friend have to wait till 3 days after AF especially when she's been trying for so long! 😲 Great news for her and hopefully with that ovulation peak you'll be not far behind her 🤞

Well my day of self care turned into 3 days off as I just couldn't get a grip of myself and everytime I thought about it I burst into tears. No idea why this one affected me so much compared to the others 🤷‍♀️ Phoned my fertility clinic to plead for progesterone so I can at least feel like I'm trying something next time (plus I also read stress can lower your progesterone and last week before I lost this one one of my pupils was having a hard time and smashed a few windows, threw chairs around, tried to kick the door in and was generally having a hard time all week so stress definitely comes with the job! Plus I read having fibroids (which I have) can also lead to lower levels of progesterone too so I figured taking some extra around the time it keeps failing won't hurt to try! Anyways asked the fertility clinic and she said she couldn't prescribe it or answer my question as to whether it would work that would best come from the recurrent miscarriage clinic which I haven't been able to get referred to because all mine have happened before 6 weeks so I don't meet the criteria for referral. She then said due to the sheer number of CPs I keep having I might be able to fight my case to get referred. So I asked her to refer me but apparently the fertility clinic can't it has to come from your GP. Why can't all the departments just talk to each other felt like I was hitting my head off a brick wall 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ So have an appointment with the GP on Friday to fight my case for also getting referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. Now its all making sense tho why the fertility clinic couldn't really do anything else for me as they can only investigate why I can't get pregnant but I can its the staying pregnant part I have trouble with which they can't actually do tests for.......they could have told me this ages ago!!! So fighting gloves on for Friday to fight for my referral.
In nicer news tho, I'm sitting here watching my sons caterpillars that have just this evening turned into butterflies 🦋 There are still 2 to emerge from their chrysalis and 3 currently drying their new wings off. Its given me hope again that tough times don't last before something magical happens 🥰

I cant get a great pic due to the mesh but here's one of them. I'll take some pics when we set them free at the weekend once their wings have dried out and they've ate some food last time they hung around the garden for ages landing on our hands before flying off 🦋

@DKDK123 I literally don't understand why you don't meet your RMC clinic guidelines. I did and I am in the same boat! A loss is a loss!
I think if they're unwilling to refer locally you should ask to be referred to one of the Tommy's clinic RMC Clinics.

I can't remember who but someone asked how work has been for me in the heat and omg I had to take my mask off yesterday as it was either that or pass out on the floor from heat exhaustion! It's horrific 😩😩 I have 5 days off now though so loving that and its half term here so spending time with DS🥰 got sent our new rota for July roday and I'm down to work two lots of 7 days in a row so had to send a message about that as I'll be 36 weeks pregnant and somehow don't think I'll manage that ...😳
