This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Tested this morning. BFN. I think I'm 10 DPO but not 100% sure.

I had a weird moment yesterday with my endocrinologist secretary. I decided to try to get a private tubal x ray dye test (the one with the unpronounceable name) because waiting lists on our public system are ridiculous (and will be much longer due to this ongoing cyber attack) and she basically told me I couldn't afford it. I felt like Julia Robert trying to buy clothes in Pretty Woman! I had previously checked their prices online and it said €420 which I didn't think was sufficiently expensive for her to tell me not to book the test as I couldn't afford it.

Has anyone had it? The one where they put dye in the tubes and check for blockages? Any idea of prices? I'm flabbergasted. I got very upset about it yesterday, mainly because she was so rude.

We're having a nightmare of a day 🙈 first DH got turned away for his jab this morning as they only had the astra zeneca in, and it was an absolute mission trying to rebook it 😩 then he's gone off to do an exam and the bloody tram is held up by a police incident so now instead of being nice and early he's going to be lucky if he makes it in time at all! Is it bedtime yet?!

I've had quite a week, shattered all the time lately plus I've gone back to work this week now that we're allowed to open.

I had a scan this morning after a lot of pinching pains on one side for the last couple of weeks. I'm measuring 5 and a half to 6 weeks which is what I thought so that's good. And we could just about see the heartbeats. HEARTBEATS! I have two in there 😭 I almost fainted from shock then we laughed and I cried and now I'm just stuffing myself with mcdonalds and wondering how I'm supposed to go about my day.

@InkyPaper Thanks. I won't complain because I have been seeing that doctor for 7 years now and my illness is for life so I'll probably be going there for some time so it's not worth it. The doctor is great, it's just secretary who is a pain. She told me to ask around other private hospitals to check their prices so I'll just do that if they don't want my custom. I hate giving private hospitals money but I just can't rely on the public system if I want to get pregnant before I hit the bloody menopause!
Fingers crossed your DH makes it on time. That's so stressful

Wow @Madeoftea how exciting having twins! Have you got any children already? Do twins run in the family? Sorry for all the questions haha just interested 😃

@InkyPaper did they actually turn your husband away for the AZ or did he just not want it? I've had 2 colleagues go for vaccines this week and they both accepted AZ. Both of them are 39, so under 40. Although I think they were offered the option to rebook if they didn't want to take it.

Sorry about the BFNs ladies but I continue to vouch for the coming months as being better for conceiving for better due dates 😅 get the treats and wine out!

@Vil10 yeah it's lovely that they will make the effort. My husband was the same, he told me when we first met he wasn't too bothered about having kids but now he is loving the idea. He happily took supplements I bought him and started eating better. I expected some reluctance 😅 hopefully your OH won't have to be off the protein shakes for too long anyway, it could be one thing that will help it happen quickly once you've had your holiday and are TTC again 🤞

@2020mission there are no twins in either of our families so it never even entered my mind as a possibility. We have no children and always knew we would only want two max so at least I could get it done in one go! It's super early and I know that anything could happen but right now there's two and I'm in disbelief but so happy at the same time. I can think about how I'll manoeuvre our flat stairs by myself and pay for childcare at a later date 😂

That's brilliant @Madeoftea the best time to have twins has to be the first 🎉 can imagine that must be a shock though!

OMG @Madeoftea TWINS!! 😮 Congratulations! I would die if I found out I was having twins but I already have one child and definitely don't have the room (or money) for three 😂 That's amazing news for you though if you wanted two anyway 🎉

@Somatronic I had a HSG back in December 2017 when I was TTC my son. I had it on the NHS so not sure about prices but that sounds pretty reasonable, sorry to hear the woman was so bitchy to you though 😡 I'm not going to lie, I found it quite painful but I got pregnant 6 days later after TTC for 11 cycles so it was definitely worth it!

@Somatronic that price sounds about right to me? I had it done in March so ask away!

@Madeoftea plural of heartbeat!! I'd never even consider the possibility of there being two in there - although OH has said he'd quite like to have twins! (OH also doesn't know the cost of childcare though lol). Congratulations, that's really magical!! Plenty of time to get ready for it too. Oooh does that mean an earlier due date?

@Somatronic ahh, I understand, sucks that you'll have to keep dealing with her. DH managed to get there with seconds to spare and they threatened not to let him in, but did thankfully.

@2020mission nope, they full on turned him away, wouldn't even consider it. He called the covid line to try and rebook but they said it would be another 24 hours before he could try booking again. Luckily, later on we got a text from our doctors which let him rebook at one of the hospital hubs. We just got back so he's had his first vaccination now, thankfully.

Sorry I'm still feeling a bit absent so not replying to all individually I'm still feeling raw & things still making me both sad and frustrated. Testing out the hcg and it's going (weird as it took ages to rise on cheapies despite being a great FRER result) so I got me my Pom juice & grapefruit ass juice & even got some 🍆last night. It was 6 mins of joy 😆

HOWEVER. Random non TTC thought as I just cleaned my cheese plant. What shit jobs did your parents make you do for pocket money? My parents made brother & I clean our old cheese plants with milk & water on a cotton pad every week (it makes them shiny leafed doncha know!) for 50p?

@minster2012 I love the cheese plants 🤣 how are you feeling? Been thinking about you. For our pocket money, I had to wash the cars! Must have done it well though as my childhood best friend and I started our own little business going door to door washing cars when we were about 15!

@InkyPaper argggh annoying on the jab my friend has done some vaccinations at the surgery where she works, she said they don't always know what they're going to get until the day which seems silly if appointments already booked 🤦🏼‍♀️ I've had the Oxford AZ, I'm 30, before they changed the guidance to not for under 40s. Glad he made it for the exam 😰

@Juno231 maybe a premonition 🤔 my DH is being overly optimistic this month saying he's got a feeling, it's becoming quite irritating actually he's quite giddy and he'll only be disappointed 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Kirky658 ahhha yes the car wash 🧽 also did that and for neighbours. The best pocket money I ever got was me and a couple of friends going carol singing for money for booze when we were 15/16. Went to the most affluent area in the town and earnt £170 between us over 3 nights 😆

@Kirky658 yeah I did car washing (btw my phone just auto corrected me to cat washing 🤣🤣) and I used to do it £5 what was your rate?? It's like £9 a 4x4 here for a hand car wash and mine isn't a PROPER 4 x4 (as in its a squat 4x4 not a high one)

Just turned eaten a raw steak, seen a rainbow, DS then insisted DH got wooden rainbow to put in the window, ELO was playing on Alexa, Got sad, put DS to bed ; (way last his bedtime anyway) had chat with DH about trying for at least another year (that's what I want) he's a bit drunk been at pub since 2 so a bit more pliable than usual.
