One Step Second Lines

Hi folks! Has anyone had a line like this appear on a one step within the timeframe, then disappear but go on to get their BFP?

That's so weird @ChattyMum86! Try another with first morning urine? I find it best to pee into a little cup so you can check with a couple of tests if needs be. FRERs are the best in my view but pricey!

@TheDaydreamBelievers thank you, I will do. Tried my two closest pharmacies today and they were closed 👎🏼 will try again tomorrow. Have never had that happen before 🤷🏼‍♀️

You can always pee first thing and save the wee in a cup in the fridge till you can get a test!

Nope sorry, never seen a line that disappears! That looks legit though if it was there at the 3min mark

@TheDaydreamBelievers it was there before the three minute mark but only at a certain tilt if that makes sense xx

I've stopped looking before the 3/5 minute mark whichever it advises for that brand as before then you can see the test strip as the urine passes. Over it. I've had ones like that disappear and unfortunately it was just that.
How many dpo are you? 🤞🏻 for you maybe try an frer?

@firsttimemummy321 it's frustrating and disappointing isn't it. I have no other tests in the house to try this morning either which is a pain 😞

I am either 8 or 9 dpo xx

Hi lovely, I had this EXACT thing happen this week! 10DPO I tested with this brand and got a faint but clear line within 3 mins. I then did a FRER and got a very clear BFP. I looked back at the one step and the line had completely disappeared! I thought I was losing my mind haha! Did another one step at 12DPO and the line was darker but did fade a lot after! It’s clearly a line though. So I’d say don’t give up, I think these tests are dodgy - do another test in a couple of days or buy a FRER as they’re a lot more sensitive xxx
