Spotting after positive OPK

Has anyone ever had brown discharge after a positive OPK and could tell me why this may be happening? I had a positive OPK on Tuesday (CD14) and assuming I ovulated on Wednesday (CD15). I am now 3 dpo and have had brown spotting for the last 3 days. I'm confused.
