This is impossible, right?

So, I had sex with my boyfriend 3 nights ago. We used protection.

A little backstory...I used to track my ovulation and what not. But, I haven't had sex for a while, and am not looking to get pregnant, so I fell off that wagon a while back.

It's been a couple of years since I tested my ovulation schedule. But...at that time I had a late ovulation, usually around Day 21-24. It didn't even really occur to me because, again, not trying to get pregnant, and we're using protection. But, this month, if my ovulation hasn't changed since a couple of years ago, that would put my peak ovulation day at yesterday or today.

I honestly hadn't really thought about this at all....but what got me thinking about it was....I noticed spotting in my underwear earlier. And, then when I wiped, I noticed some pinkish spotting, as well as a couple of brown spots.

It's too early to be spotting from my period. That said, if it was related to the sex we had, I would have expected it immediately afterward, not 3 days later. So, I'm kind of panicking.

I mean....on the off chance/rare chance that the condom failed....it would take much longer than 3 days for there to be some sort of implantation bleeding, correct? I am under the impression that you would expect to see it at least 7 days past ovulation.

Of course, with my late ovulation, 7 days past ovulation puts me at the date of my monthly cycle.

It's impossible for me to be bleeding from conception/implantation this quickly after sex, correct?

I'd say if you only had sex 3 days ago and were using contraception it is highly unlikely to be caused by implantation. Some get that when the egg is released or something else could have caused it. The only way to know for sure is wait and take a test though unfortunately but it does seem unlikely x

With my first pregnancy I noticed a bit of dark blood the morning after sex and I'd never had that before. I then went on to discover I was pregnant. I always assumed implantation but with 2 pregnancies I had implantation bleeding around the time period was due and one pregnancy none at all.

Yes it’s pretty much impossible. I hope you get the result you want x

You can also have spotting during ovulation, ive had this before so i wouldnt worry too much if you used protection
