We are trying to conceive and I have the symptoms of UTI and am miserable. GP has given me antibiotics but what else can I do?
The sachets you can buy all say not to take whilst pregnant and I’m on the 2WW so don’t know?! What else can I do? Xx

Drink water with a teaspoon of baking soda in - tastes gross but it neutralises the wee so it doesn't burn and really does help with symptoms.

I used to have chronic UTIs :)

I suffer terribly with UTI's 😢 had all sorts of tests and ultrasounds and they still don't know what's causing it! I'm only 23 so they are surprised at how much I'm getting them!

Please do not waste your money on the sachets - they do not work and have been told by several specialists they are a waste of money.

drink plenty of water and cranberry juice (not proven to work but seems to help me) - take the antibiotics and use a hot water bottle. Do not bath, only shower and don't use any soap down there. The antibiotics should start working soon, I hope it clears up quickly for you 🤞🏻❤️
