Bfp now bfn within 2 urine trips

Hello all,

I did a test last night just for the craic and it was a bfp I was so shocked and excited did two more this morning and got the same result. I then did one with SMU and it was a Neg.

They were fermometer test strips and I’ll show the line progression.

I just told my doctor today I was and I’d be embarrassed to have to call and say actually I am not.

Period is supposed to be here tomorrow but I also held it in and tested with a CB and that was a plain negative.

Any ideas?

I'd wait a few days and test again

Trust the positives. Even one false positive would be extremely bad luck

I am roughly 9DPO, was 8DPO for the third test.

I have 3 different apps they say my period is due:
14th, 18th & 19th.

Extremely early.
Best testing in the morning and every couple of days but I would say you have a good number of positives for being this early.

Yes, 8dpo is very, very early. Implantation happens earliest 6dpo and it takes 2 days for tests to pick up hcg. Most implantation happen around 10 days, so they would get a BFP at 8dpo as well and not get a positive until at least 12dpo. I know, the 2WW is pure agony, but you will know soon! Fingers crossed

Going to get a FRER and then use the same strip Tomorrow. Thank you for your advice! Here is hoping x

Got the CB ones (6 days early) and the Asda own with 25mul. Couldn’t get the frer
